Chapter 24: I'm free

*Stiles*

Right after Melissa told me Max was going to live I ran as fast as I could to his room, which was at the same floor the waiting room is. I could hear that someone was run behind me, probably Derek and the others.

Finally I made it to the room and I open it fast to see my best friend laying on the hospital bed. He look up when he heard the door open. He sit up and I run over to him and jump on the bed to hug him. Of course not to hard, his still pretty injured.

>> Thank god you're okay<< he say and hug me back.

>> I'm supposed to say that<< I say and let go of him laughing. Right after we stopped hugging my dad and the others came in.

I sit down on the chair next to his bed holding his hand. I can see that Derek is jealous, but he doesn't have to worry. His the one I love here.

Melissa starts to look at Max's wound. I still can't believe this happened to hi and I keep blaming myself for this. If I had told anyone before this would never happened.
If I was this covered I am.

Right now I'm sitting in the car together with my dad and Derek driving to the sheriffs station to see Logan. I decided that I wanted to go because I want to see him one more time before he goes to jail. I know that he was a horrible person but his still my husband and he need to sigh the divorce papers. And of course Derek is here with me. He didn't want to leave me alone with him even if my dad was there together with a lot of other cops.

Plus he want to see the man who had abused me for so long.

My heart started to raze when see that we're here now. Well it's time.

I walk out of the car with Derek holding my hand. He knows that I'm nervous, well I think everyone can see that. I'm going to see my husband for the last time and then he'll be gone for good.

My dad open the door for me and Derek and I take a shaking step in to the station. Right when I come in I see Aria stand by my fathers desk waiting for us.

>> Hey Stiles<< she say and give me a hug. I pull away and give her a small smile.

>> I know you're nervous and scared but we will be with you the whole time okay. So you won't be alone with him. Okay?<< I nod and take a deep breath.

We turn around and walk over to the cells where they're keeping him. Aria and my dad walk in front of me and Derek. I can feel on how Derek hold my hand that his probably nervous or mad. I think both.

Aria open the door to the cell room and there I see him behind the cell laying on the bed looking up at the roof. He look up when we came in.

At first he didn't care that we were here. But then he saw me and smile while standing up walking over to the end of the cell looking right at me.

>> Hey there love. Why are you standing so far away from me? Come closer<< he say and waving me over.

I let go of Derek's hand and walk over to him.

>> Stiles! What are you doing?!<< my dad ask but he doesn't stop me.

I'm not afraid anymore....

I stand right in front on him and stare in to his cold eyes that I once loved. Logan smile and drag his cold hands on my cheek I don't move or say anything.

>> So how are you? I see that my punch left a mark<< he say and point at my forehead.

>> You have give me worse<< I say, not showing him any emotional.

He smile and nod.

I'm not afraid anymore....

He look behind me and to Derek. With a smile he look back at me again.

>> Is this the guy you've been dating?<< I nod.

>> His kind of cute<< he say and look at him again.

This maybe me really mad. I swear that he had cheated on me, but I don't care anymore.

He look at me and bring his hand to mine and bring it up to his mouth. He kiss my hand and smile. I continue giving him no emotional. He laugh and let go of my hand.

>> Why so serious?<< he ask and come closer to my face. I don't move.

I'm not afraid anymore....

>> You need to sign the divorce papers<< my dad say and comes to stand beside me.

Logan look at me and smile. Can he ever stop smiling? It's creepy.

>> That's why you're here. Huh okay<< he say and walk over to my dad.

>> And why should I do that?<< Logan say right at my dads face. I can see the anger on his face when he said that.

>> Because if you don't I will shot you in the head<< he said and show Logan his gun.

Logan laugh and nod.

>> Okay. But say what's your name young man?<< Logan say and point at Derek.

Derek walk over to us and stand a bit in front of me.

>> Derek<< he say and look Logan up and down.

Logan give him a evil smile and walk away from my dad and comes over to me and Derek.

>> So Derek. Do you really think you can handle someone like Stiles. His just a little baby that can't take a hit. His weak<< Derek doesn't move a bit. He just stare at him with a straight face.

>> I think I can handle it. I love him unlike you<< he say with a little smile.

Logan look at him surprised. He didn't thought that anyone would ever love me, but his wrong. He was so wrong.

Aria walk over to us and give Logan the pen and papers. And surprisingly: he sign.

I'm free....

I can't believe it....

I'm finally free......

Me and Derek walk out and wait by the car for my dad. His inside writing papers for Logan. His finally going to jail after what he did. And I'm not surprised that beating me wasn't his only crime. His been stealing and selling things that is giving him more years in jail.

I look over to Derek to see him looking at me. I smile and pull him in for a kiss. He pull away and look in to my eyes.

>> I love you<< he say and kiss my cheek.

>> I love you too<< I smile and hug him.

I'm free.....

Stiles finally divorced Logan! His free from Logan forever now. And his final happy. Next chapter is the last and it feels kind of sad because this was funny to make. And I'm happy that so many liked it.
