A Second Dream Sequence
I dreamt I floated in the sea
Warmth and light surrounded me
On warm currents a lily settled
I reached to touch a single petal.
To my delight it opened wide
Light shinning forth from inside,
Bright radiance filled the air
Overwhelming love for me was there.
The Lapis Lazuli River,
Like the Nile, with a quiver,
Drew us down the soft banks and on,
Another bend and we were gone.
In darkest night, in deepest love,
The two of us lay far above,
The sweetest music of peace I heard,
But there never was a single word.
All God allows us to escape,
Reality is our own dreamscape.
So follow me and on we go,
To fantasy, with eyes aglow.
