A nurse happen to stop by and slip in the door. She made sure everything was still in place and that I was still comfortable. After this he was right back out the door. I didn't expect to see her again tonight, but I did. She brought back two meanies that consisted of breakfast,lunch,dinner,including drinks. Se wrote down my order for the week along with my mom's. The nurse also took our order for tonight's dinner. I ordered chicken noodle soup with a salad and water. Mom ordered the same thing since that's the only decent thing the hospital could probably make.Within 15 minutes are food had arrived. While eating, my mom told me embarrassing stories of my childhood. "I remember when you were five and you got into my make-up. Your face was smothered with bright pink lipstick and purple eyeshadow all the way up to your hairline! Then you decided to get into my closet and put on my high heels and my gold,sequence party dress. You thought you looked fabulous! It was the funniest thing. I couldn't even get mad!" mom bubbled with laughter. I could see the light return to her dull eyes. She was enjoying every moment even me. That night she continued on telling me every embarrassing story she could think of. We eventually went to bed with our minds filled with happy thoughts and memories.
