Zayn shut down his laptop and flicked the paper open. He was currently in school, teaching an English class until they had all gone for lunch. At the thought of lunch, his stomach began to rumble. He really should get something to eat.
Sighing, he closed the paper over and headed out the room and down the corridor. He was about to head down the hall when the janitor’s door opened and someone grabbed at his shirt, pulling him inside and slamming the door behind them.
Zayn grunted, massaging his sore head which he had just hurt. "Ow!" He complained when he heard someone scoff. "Don't be a wimp, Zayn." He looked up and saw Leela standing in front of him, looking as beautiful as ever, her bright blue eyes shining with mischief.
"Hey." He beamed and bent down to kiss her softly, his hands resting on her hips. She smiled, kissing him back. Leela went to open his mouth with her tongue but he refused, pulling away.
"Lee, we can't." Zayn sighed, pressing their foreheads together. "Who says so?" Leela asked innocently. "Me." Zayn answered simply and Leela pulled away, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I like you...a lot, but we can't."
"We can if no one will find out."
"Trust me, someone will find out. They always do." Zayn whispered and Leela raised an eyebrow. "How do you know?"
"Because my closest friends were in a teacher/student relationship. It tore them apart. “He explained and Leela's face fell. "They were? What happened to them?" There was a short pause.
"They're now married and pregnant, about to move into a new house." He admitted sheepishly and Leela giggled quietly. "See? That could be us after we graduate!" She beamed and Zayn closed his eyes, pulling away from her.
"I don't want to risk it. You're 16, Leela! I'm 21!"
"It's not that bad." She shrugged, feeling a little bit hurt but Zayn only shook his head. "I can't risk it." He protested, shaking his head and Leela frowned at him before stepping aside, out of the janitor’s room. He followed her out but watched her leave the floor, her heels clicking in the process.
"Leela!" He called but she gave him the middle finger instead. "Screw it, Mr Malik!" She shouted back mockingly and left without another word. Zayn let out a frustrated groan, punching his fist against one of the lockers. How Liam and Niall did it, he'd never know.
Niall watched from inside as Liam hung the Christmas lights over the roof of the house. He was concentrating so hard, wanting to make their last Christmas alone together perfect for Niall. The snow got in the way a lot but Liam didn't mind. Niall sighed, stepping away from the window and went to make a mug of hot chocolate for Liam.
After it was made, he wrapped his hands around the hot mug and headed outside to give too him. Liam was standing on a silver ladder, attaching the lights to the rooftop when Niall saw him. Liam saw Niall at the corner of his eye and turned his head, coming down off the ladder.
"I bought you this." Niall shrugged and Liam smiled, taking the mug in his hands as he kissed Niall on the forehead. "You shouldn't have come out here babe, don't want you to catch a cold." Liam mumbled, closing their proximity as Niall sighed.
"Anything I can do to help?" Niall offered, ignoring Liam's protest. "Well, I don't think you even be attempting climbing a ladder. Not in your condition anyway." Liam reasons and Niall whimpered softly.
"I know, I'm just tired moping around or sitting with my feet up watching rotting day time TV." He admitted sheepishly and Liam smirked. "Tell you what, I'll finish these lights in five minutes then we can put a Christmas movie on and watch that. How does that sound?" Liam suggested and Niall beamed.
