You're a new user on Wattpad and just started making a new account. Feeling lost, too many directions, what do you do?
1. Panic like Spongebob and create fire in the room.
2. Use a Wattpad map or GPS!
3. Ask for help.
The answer is: Ask help.
(If you chose option 1 or 2, it's ok. I would have chosen 1 as well because in any site, when you're new, that feeling of nerves and confusion kicks into your body.)
But who to ask for help?
Good question! Grab a notebook or get your browser's file ready to bookmark them. These are the main helpers that every beginners need to follow:

Wattpad (literally the profile name)
Help Center
howtousewattpad is the first step to learn about this site. They're the profile that has guide books about any functions for writers, readers, and accounts. They also have a guide on how to get more reads. In short, howtousewattpad is basically 'Wattpad for Dummies'.
(For those who have never heard the title, please know I'm not saying it as an insult. Back in the years, there were many books that were titled '(blank) for Dummies' which is just a general guide on the subject. You can Google it and the results will show up.)
wattpadwelcome is another profile that has a guide about this site and what they do. Based on the bio, it was created by some HQ staffs.
Wattpad is the main hub profile. The most important book you need to know is News & Updates. They consist of information on what has changed, what's added, what kind of events or partnership they're doing, etc etc.. They also have other books too which are about book launch, focusing on what the communities are doing, and how Wattpad works.
Ambassadors are volunteers of Wattpad. The profile is for when you have questions, they (Ambassadors) answer or lead you the right way. If you're a writer/reader/fan of a specific genre/theme, there's a directory book listing Ambs run/CommunityHub/HQ profiles (keep in mind though, it changes depending on how inactive the profile is). And if you're interested in becoming a volunteer of Wattpad yourself, you need to read their Ambs Program book for the requirements (see chapter The Program).
NOTE: Ambassadors are NOT staffs nor work at HQ. They're mostly volunteers who do for free (except in some cases. See Ambs Program book, chapter Frequently Asked Questions - FAQs) and love of Wattpad. The program is open to any users from any country.
These profiles can be found by typing in WP's search box and just simply clicking their name under 'Profile' (or the book as some profiles don't show up in there, sometimes).
