The sun shone through the window, blinding my vision. I blinked rapidly to adjust to the light. An arm rested on my stomach. I turned to my right to see Aiden who was still asleep, his chest moved up and down, steadily breathing.

My index finger traced his face features, from his eyebrows to his chin. He scrunched his nose when I traced it, making me giggle. His right eyes opened slowly, followed by the other. He smiled and I smiled back at him. He looked a thousand times more gorgeous when he just woke up. I silently wished I could wake up beside him everyday.

"Good morning." My hand rested on his neck and my thumb on his jaw.

"Morning." His voice was raspy and heavy. God, I love his morning voice.

We stayed like that for a while, just staring at each other, before school popped up in my head. I reached out for my phone and looked at the time. We had an hour until school starts. I gasped and sat up quickly.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He pulled himself up and cupped my cheeks.

"We have school!" I panicked.

"Oh, shit." He laid down again and closed his eyes. "Let's just skip school." He pulled me down and wrapped his arms around me.

"Aiden, we can't."

"Come on, skipping school won't kill you." He then looked at me with puppy eyes. "I still want to spend more times with you."

I almost gave in when I saw how adorable he looked. Honestly, I still wanted to spend more times with him too, but I really couldn't skip a day unless I was sick. School was really important to me. I needed to graduate, went to college and get a degree. I had to help my mom, she couldn't work for us alone forever.

"I have math test." I ran my hand through his hair gently.

"Screw math."

"Please?" I pleaded. "We can go out again after school."

He sighed. "Alright. After school."

He drove me back to my house, we bid goodbyes and he went back to his house. He promised me he would pick me up in thirty minutes.

I ran inside, did my business, showered, and changed into fresh clothes. I ran downstairs and grabbed a granola bar. He arrived at precisely seven thirty and we drove to school.
