A/N: Haha get it?? The Birth? Reference?? Hahaha okay I'll stop now
"He's beautiful. Look at him; he has your nose!"
"Yes, but he has your hair and your beautiful blue eyes."
The cries of newborn babies echoed all around the hospital. They were in that section, after all. A mother cradled her son in her arms, gazing down at him with warm, loving eyes. The father, equally emotional, ran his hand over the baby's thin blond hair.
"Have you thought of a name yet, dear?" He coaxed. "It's fine if you haven't; after all, you must be exhausted."
"No, I've got one. I've been pondering over names for a while now, but this one always stuck."
The newborn cooed in her arms, flashing her a toothless smile. He had been waiting for this moment for who knows how long. He had two parents. Two real parents, who looked down at him with nothing but love and comfort.
"Ryo." She said, in decision.
The father leaned back against the wall and ran his fingers through his hair.
"Ryo. Ryo Asuka." He breathed.
This was the true miracle of life; a fresh start, a new chapter.
On this day, Ryo Asuka was born on planet Earth as a human being.

[Third Person]
A child with the memories of Satan and his destruction is almost too much to bear.
To Ryo, he basically had his old mind in the body of an 8 year old. In some ways he had to act his age. He couldn't imagine what his parents would think of his first word was "honorificabilitudinitatibus". But instinct helped him along the way. He cried when his mom left the room. He had sudden urges to chew things he wasn't supposed to. But he still had that memory.
He also wondered constantly when he'd meet Akira again. There was that lingering fear that they'd been born too far away, and that even in this new world, they would never meet. It was a lot for just a mere child to have on his mind.
Ryo also has nightmares. Images of the red sea that had surrounded him as he wept over Akira's cold, dead body flashed through his memories. Regret still haunted him all throughout his body.
But life itself was a blessing. Living with such a loving family was something that he'd never expect to happen after everything he'd caused.
"Ryo? Ryo! Ohh, where are you now?"
Ryo heard his mother's voice echo throughout the house as she searched for him.
She peered into the room where he sat. "Oh, there you are! We have some new neighbors, so come with us to greet them, okay?"
Ryo got up from his kneeling position and trailed behind his mom. "Who are they? Does dad know them?"
"I know them from when I was in high school, but your father doesn't. I would've never guessed that they'd get together. Oh, they have a child, too! Just your age." She chuckled and opened the door leading outside.
Ryo's heart raced. What if it was Akira? Could this be the moment they meet again?
They walked up to the door and rang the bell. A middle aged woman opened the door, which Ryo assumed was the mother of the house. She seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite pin her down.
"Oh! Hello, hello! It's so good to see you again." Her and Ryo's mom hugged, and she bent down to Ryo's height. "And you must be Ryo!"
He nodded. "Yes. Do you have a son?"
"Yes, and a daughter." Akira had a sister? "Come here, Miki, Kensaku!"
Ryo's heart dropped. Of course, he was fine with seeing Miki again. But it wasn't Akira.
Ryo lowered his head. "No, that's fine. I'm tired. I'd like to go home."
"Long day, huh? Well, I'll have her come visit tomorrow. It's good seeing you again! And good to meet you, Ryo." She messed up his hair and gave him a little pat.
They began to walk away, but Miki's mom seemed to have remembered something and chased after them.
"Actually, Marie! Come here!" So that was his moms name. It sounded foreign. "I have something to tell you!"
Miki's mom whispered something into her ear, and her eyes widened. "What?? She's gotten married?"
"And had a kid. He's about Miki and Ryo's age. They're supposed to be moving here next month."
Ryo looked up. "What's his name?"
"Akira."
A/N: Hello again!! I decided to add in Ryo's mom more in this since we didn't really hear about her much in either the manga or crybaby. But yeah, I'm debating whether to make this a crappy, feels kinda ending (even though this won't be ending anytime soon) or just let my bois live. I guess I'll see the more I write! :)
