Levi didn't know what to say. He only held her, letting her know that he was there for her. "We're gonna be okay. Everything will be okay." Levi finally decided to say. A knock sounds at the hospital door before the doctor walks in.
He sends both Levi and Diana a small smile, before speaking. "I'm sorry for your loss. I know this isn't the right time, but we need to know what you guys want to do with the fetus."
"What are our options?" Levi asks. Diana doesn't say a word, her head presses against Levi's chest and she listens to the sound of his heart. She silently cries, thinking about her child.
"Well because the fetus wasn't fully developed yet, you really don't have many options. We can dispose of the fetus or if you want, cremate the fetus." The doctor says. "The choice is for you two to make. There's no rush, you guys have at least twenty-four hours to decide." He says, before walking out the door. Levi sighs, not knowing what to do.
"Can you please lay with me?" Diana whispers.
"Sure baby." Levi agrees. Diana scoots over, making room on the small hospital. Levi lays down and wraps his arms around Diana's waist. Diana does the same. "What should we do?" Levi asks, after a few minutes of just staring at each other.
"I... I wanna cremate him." Her voice cracks when she said this.
"Him?" Levi asks.
"I think he would've been a boy." She answers. "I wanna cremate him and throw his ashes somewhere beautiful. Can we do that?"
"Of course we can Diana." Levi places a kiss on her forehead. "We should name him. Well, both of them."
Diana hums in agreement. "We can name him Landon. Landon Isaiah Green."
"I like it," Levi says. His hand falls to Diana's stomach and he softly rubs it. "What about the one in here?"
"If it's a girl then Naomi Iris Green," Diana says. "You choose a name for a boy."
Levi thinks for a moment, trying to decide. "Elliott. Elliott Ivan Green."
Diana nods, liking the way the name sounds. "I love it." She whispers. They look into each other eyes, sadness clear as day. "We're gonna be okay." Diana whispers.
"We're gonna be okay," Levi assures.

Diana watches the sea, lost in the rhythmic percussion of waves on sand. The yellow ball of fire changes to hues of orange, and then almost tangerine. She smiles a little, looking at the birds flying above the water. Levi walks towards her, a small metal urn in his hand. He lightly tapes her shoulders, making Diana turn around. She was dressed in a light blue sundress, while Levi had on some swim trunks. He felt nervous because his prosthetic leg was out in the open for everyone to see. "Stop worrying about your leg Levi, it's okay to be different," Diana says, taking his hand. They begin to walk to a more private area on the beach.
"I wasn't worrying." He lies.
Diana rolls her eyes. "Really? Could've fooled me."
Levi sticks his tongue at her, causing Diana to giggle. It's been two days since she left the hospital, everything was slowly starting to go back to the way it was. Today was the day, they decided to throw Landon's ashes.
"Right here?" Levi asks as the water rises.
"Yeah," Diana says, trying her best not to cry. She pulls out a folded piece of paper from her bra and opens it. "I wanna read this first." She says to Levi.
Levi nods. "Go ahead, love."
Diana breaths in before reading. "Dear Landon, even now I have not cried all my tears. I never got to hold you or kiss your little head. I know you are in heaven, where there is no pain or tears. You'll never get hurt or sick, in heaven, there are no fears. And though I'm sad you're not here right now, for us to hold today. I know we'll hold you in our arms someday." Tears stream down her face and she wipes them away, before looking up a Levi. "We can do it now."
