Harry's Point Of View:

My hand slowly caressed her stomach as she laid in my arms. A small smile was painted on my lips as I finally came to the realisation that she and I were going to have a family; a baby that we could teach everything, but most importantly a baby we would be able to call our own.

I closed my eyes, imagining of what it would be like when our baby is born.

Would they share the same warm skin tone as her mother? Or my colder one?
Green or brown eyes? Full or thin lips?

The thought of having a baby - our baby - in between my arms made me smile. I laughed as I imagined myself having to change their diapers. I imagined having to sing for my little darling every night, so that Olivia and I could have a peaceful sleep.
My eyes closed as I tried to imagine the feeling of their skin brush against mine. I sighed at the beautiful thoughts and slowly fell asleep.

The following morning, I woke up to her sweet lips against my cheek and her angelic voice fill my ears.

"Baby, we are going to be late for our appointment.", she said with an excited smile and I couldn't help but recreate the same action.

After arriving to the doctor, we waited in the room where she sat on the papered bed with a joyous smile.

"I can't wait to see if it's a boy or a girl."
"Me either.", I replied smiling, bringing her hand to my lips.

Finally the doctor walked in with a cheeky smile.
After having some papers signed and everything was checked and done, her shirt was lifted up to expose her baby bump. As the gel was spread on her stomach, he searched for the baby.

Slowly I began to notice his smile fading.

"What's wrong?", I asked quickly with concern as my eyebrows curved.

"Uh...", he stuttered, searching faster.

"It's just- I-I can't find the heartbeat...", he said, his eyes jumping around on the screen.

"I'm so sorry...", his eyes slowly easing towards us, as I felt the stinging water fill my eyes.
