Chapter 11: Find a way out

Hi there, I'm back with a new chapter. The last update was I think last summer or sometime around that time ... whatever I thought I should write on this story again. Hope you enjoy reading and sorry for keeping you guys waiting that long.

After Sonic and Amy fell down into the hole, which appeared all of a sudden, they skidded down in some kind of tunnel before they ended up in a dark cave. Sonic landed on the stony underground while Amy had luck and landed onto Sonic. "Ow." Sonic said as he sat up and rubbed his back. "Sorry Sonic, are you okay?" Amy said and stood up. "Yea I'm fine. Where are we?" Sonic asked as he looked around. "I don't know, it's to dark to see something in here." Amy said as she looked a bit scared around.

"I can solve that problem, I should have a torch somewhere in by bag." Sonic said and wanted to open his bag just to notice that the bag is not beside him. "Oh no." Sonic said as he jumped up and searched for his bag with his hands. "What, what's wrong?" Amy asked thinking that something bad had happened. "I can't find my bag. But it has to be somewhere around here." Sonic said still walking around on all four, trying to find his bag. 

"Sonic, I think I found it." Amy said as she felt something soft. "Great, but where are you, I can't see you." Sonic said, now having problems finding Amy. "I'm right here just follow my voice." Amy said trying to help Sonic. "Okay I think I know where you are." Sonic said and crawled towards Amy. Sonic soon was next to Amy and he started searching for the torch in his bag. "Found it, it should be light any minute now." Sonic said and tried to light the torch. 

"Perfect now that we have light, we should find a way out of this cave." Sonic said and stood up. "I don't mind getting out of here fast, I don't like this place." Amy said as she stepped closer to Sonic who snickered. "Don't tell me you are scared." Sonic said smirking, looking down to Amy. "No way, I'm not scared, I just don't like the dark that much." Amy said as they kept walking. "Don't worry, lucky for you, you are with me and I can lead us out of here in no time." Sonic said. 

They walked for quiet a while before they stood in front of a crossroad. "And which way now you genius?" Amy asked and looked at Sonic. "Let me think." Sonic said as he looked from one road to the other. "I guess this could take a while." Amy said and sat down on a stone which was on the side of the road.

"Where are they, they can't be that far away?" Silver asked as he, Shadow and the rest of them ran in the direction they heard Amy scream. "It has to be somewhere around here, the scream wasn't that far away, and if they are in trouble we would have noticed by now." Shadow said frustrating as they kept running. Shadow, who ran in the front, suddenly saw something on the ground in front of him. As he saw that it was a huge hole he stopped running and came to a halt right in front of the edge of the hole. 

"Phew, that was close." Shadow said before the rest of his group ran into him and they all fell down in the cave. "Ow, Silver get off!" Shadow yelled after they came the same way into the cave as Sonic and Amy twenty minutes before. "Sorry Shadow." Silver said and stood up. But before Shadow could stand up Knuckles and Tails landed on him. "Get off you jerks!" Shadow shouted as he pushed them both off him.

This time Shadow could stand up but before he had any chance to walk away Blaze, Shade and Cream fell down onto him. "Grrr, do I look like a pillow on which you can land on, get off me!" Shadow said annoyed and the girls got off him. "Alright now let- uff!" Shadow said but this time Rouge fell onto him, being the last one who fell into the hole. "Is everyone down now," Shadow asked annoyed after Rouge was off him and everyone nodded. 

"Great where are we, has anyone a torch I can't see a thing in here." Knuckles asked and Blaze let a flame appear in her hand, thanks to her pyrokinesis. "Thanks Blaze, finally your fire ability gets in handy." Knuckles said and Blaze glared at him. "Whatever, let's get searching so we can leave this place" Blaze said and turned to Shadow who nodded.

"Sonic, you heard that?" Amy asked who heard Shadow yelling at Silver as they came down the tunnel. "Not now Ames, I'm still trying to figure out which way leads outside." Sonic said not listening. "But Sonic, I think Shadow and the others followed us down here" Amy said as she walked towards him. "Okay fine, then let's go that way" Sonic said and pointed to the left road and Amy nodded. "But before, let's lead my brother in another direction." Sonic said and ran towards the right road.

Sonic put the torch down on the ground behind a corner before be ran back to Amy. "Sonic, where's the torch I can't see a thing?" Amy asked as Sonic lifted her off the ground. "The torch has a job as distraction for now. Hold on tight it might happen that I stumble over some rocks or something cause I can't see a thing either." Sonic said before he ran off and turned left so they were on the left road.

"I don't like this place." Cream said as she clung onto Rouge. "Me neither, I wonder were Sonic and Amy went." Rouge said as she followed Shadow. "I think finding them could get complicated now." Tails said as they stood at the crossroad. "So who's for which side?" Silver asked. "We don't need to decide which road we have to take." Shadow said who stood next to Silver. "What do you mean, you got some kind of Sonic tracing system with you or something?" Knuckles asked with crossed arms.

"No, but there's light coming from the right road, they have probably gone the that way." Shadow said pointing towards the light in the distance of the right road. "I doubt they have gone that way." Shade said and Blaze agreed. "Really, could you explain why they shouldn't be there." Knuckles asked and looked at Blaze and Shade. "Sure, you see the light isn't moving so they can't be back there." Blaze said and Shade nodded. "I'm sure they have gone the left way." Shade said and this time Cream and Rouge agreed too. 

"Well let's see if you two are right, I'll be right back." Shadow said before he ran off towards the light. He was back after a few seconds with Sonic's torch in his hand. "You were right, they weren't there." Shadow said. "Told you, now let's go the left way." Rouge said and they all walked to their left. "They can't be far without the torch, I'm sure we will find them in no time." Silver said.

Alright I'm not gonna write 'next chapter coming soon' cause I'm sure it will take me forever to write the next update again. Anyway hope you liked it and enjoyed reading.
