~ Chapter 3 ~

You were waiting in the mall for Michael when you suddenly got a text from him saying that he was going to be late and that you should just to on ahead to the cafe and buy this so called 'squid' or 'squik' or whatever Jeremy called it.

"Now where is that cafe Jeremy told me about?" you muttered under your breath as you wandered into the Mall packed with people.

Time Skip

After a long 10 minutes of being hopelessly lost. Looking at mall maps where ever you could find them and asking a countless amount of people, you finally found the cafe.

As you entered the cafe, you looked around and saw a strange man sitting down at a table alone with a rather over-sized shoe box. Assuming this man had even the slightest idea where to get this 'squip' or whatever you cautiously walked over.

"E-Excuse me?" You whispered loud enough for just him to hear me but not the people at the other nearby tables.

"Huh?" the guy said looking startled "Ah, you're here for a Squip aren't you?"

"W-Well..Actually, I am! How did you know" You suspiciously asked.

"Eh, instinct?" The guy not so reassuringly said.

"oh, okay" You said, even though you had a thought in the back of my mind that thought differently

But you were taken by shock when you realised he had a... A ladies running shoes box? Then once he opened the shoe box you were even more taken aback by shock!

"Oh my go-"You started to say before he cut me off.

There seemed to be enough for the whole town..How did he get this many?

"Hurry up and take one. Doesn't matter which one you take they all work the same."He began to shove the box in your face as he said that.

You cautiously picked one out and kept it in your now clenched right hand as you slowly handed him the money with your left hand.

"Ah! I almost forgot to tell you. When you take it, take it with green mountain dew. Don't know why though... And this is the important part of you want to deactivate it you need to..."

He was cut off by someone walking into the nearly abandoned cafe, and you got so started that you dropped the pill on the hard wooden floor.

"WE'RE SOLD OUT!" The Guy screamed

"Of coffee?" Asked the guy that just walked in.

"Oh you're here for coffee? What type?" The Guy said as he hurried over to the desk

"W-Wait" You stopped him before he reached the desk "You were about to tell me something important?"

"Oh umm.. don't drink caffeinated drinks while you're young!" He hurriedly said.

After that 'conversation' he ran off to behind the counter and took the customers order. But of course by that time you were outside the cafe waiting for Michael to show up.

15 minutes later..

  Michael still hasn't shown up and I'm getting worried. I should call him and ask what's taking him so long.

*I can't be bothered to type out the call so basically Michael said he couldn't come and you ended up going home*

As soon as you got into the safety of my own home, you then shouted for my mother to see if she was home....No response as per usual. You head to my room and try out the pill.

As you examined the pill, you realised that there's some lines in it from when you had dropped it. Assuming it's just some marks that don't mean anything, you ignored it and still took it with your month old, unopened mountain dew in hand.

"Here goes nothing" you say as you place the pill onto my tongue "I hope this works"

And you swallow the mountain dew, you started to doubt it pretty much immediately.

"It tastes...Minty? Ugh i think I just wasted my money on some wintergreen tic-tac"

You flop down onto my bed, when all of a sudden you feel a sharp shock in you back causing it too sting in pain.

"Ow!" You say when you suddenly hear this clear sounding voice in your head that made you sit right up from your bed, staring right at the poster of Hamilton you have on your wall.

Target inaccessible

"What the hell!?" You say as you start to freak out

You instantly sprawl over the floor like a fish out of water as you hold your head in pain.

"Mild?" You manage to say out of all the pain.

You almost get up off the floor feeling just fine but then you hear...

Discomfort level may increase.

Then it hits you with what felt like thunder bolts being thrown at your waist,back and front!

"GAH! GAH! GAHHH!" You screamed in pain, and you were so relieved that you mother wasn't home to hear you.
