I did a full face of makeup following along with a dolly makeup tutorial. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of how it looks ON ME.
It makes me look way way older. And makeup as a foundation just makes my skin look rougher and nastier than it is. I'm not a fan.
I DID like the eyebrow bone in white and a few other things from it. I now know I want a candyfloss shade of pink for a lipstick, but I have sooo much lipstick to work through already. I'm nearing the end of my Tarte Envy lip crayon. After that I have the exact same shade in a different name in a liquid lipstick from KatVonD.
I love the color on me but it doesn't go with the dolly aesthetic. >,<
I am a fan of using up what I have, however, so I'm adding a bright pink lipstick to my shopping list.
Hopefully I can find the shade I'm looking for from a vegan AND zero waste brand.
Now to not touch my face for ten hours. 🤣
That said, I'm pretty pleased with all my eyeshadows as individuals. As a personal rule of thumb I generally never wear more than two colors together because I can never seem to blend them right. 😅 I can see pairing all of them with the white for that enlargening effect.
Maybe I'll create a living doll makeup guide for the hopeless at applying makeup, because that's how I am. 😂
