"I'm sorry, Lillian. I don't think we should stay together, there are plenty of good boys here for you."
"You're breaking up with me?"
"I wouldn't if I didn't have to move, you're a really great person, Lillian."
She stared at the ground and hugged her arms over her chest.
"Hey, you know, you need to look more closely. There's a great guy who likes you already."
"Noah! We're leaving!" his mom yelled.
"I'm sorry, Lillian. Can we remain friends?"
"Yeah, of course."
"Great. I'll text you tonight." Noah ran towards the moving truck and waved goodbye.
"Bye." she said quietly.
