Felicity's POV

I was looking at my best friend, Ellen, from the mirror in front of her. I can't believe she's getting married. I can't fućking believe she actually agreed to get married to a guy she doesn't even know completely.

"Ellie, for the millionth time, don't go ahead with this shit. You know you don't want to get married, I know you don't want to get married, then what is the problem?"

"My parents don't know that." She replied, and I scoffed.

"Just say no."

"They won't understand. You think I haven't tried talking to them."

In a way, she is right. There is no point talking to her parents, Evan and Antonia. I mean they are good people, but hard-headed, nonetheless. Why am I complaining, anyway? My parents are the same. Actually, only my father. Mom's the best.

Ellen's parents and my parents are best friends which makes me and Ellen best friends since childhood. We have been more like sisters. And now she is practically being forced to get married to some guy her father wants her to, without her consent. Gosh, this is ludicrous!

"It's not too late yet. You can run away. Like, right now." I suggested.

"Are you out of your mind?" She frowned at me.

"What? That's the only option left, don't you think?"

"No. If I do that, my parents will never forgive me." She said, wistfully.

"Oh, come on! Eventually they will. Just don't force yourself." I tried making her understand.

After a few seconds of silence, she answered,

"No, City. The wedding is tomorrow."

"Exactly! It's tomorrow! You have today. You can run still." I said.

"It's too late." She said, and I growled.

"You know what, I'm done explaining things to you. If you wanna go ahead with this bullshit, then fine. Do whatever you think is right."

"Just don't regret it in the future." I said before leaving.

If she's so adamant to go ahead with this marriage, then I can't do shit. I just hope that the fůcker keeps her happy.

It was the day of the wedding, and all of us were in the church, waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle. I saw her earlier this morning, and she looked gorgeous, but sad. I didn't tell her anything today. It's too late anyway.

I looked at the altar and saw him.

Craze Fūcking Alexander.

I can't help thinking how devilishly handsome he is. He's tall, has black hair, sharp nose, and looks fit too. The thing that attracts me the most is his eyes. His amber coloured eyes. So fùcking rare, and captivating.

But he looks awfully serious. Not even a small smile is on his face. He's probably forced into this too.

We were still waiting for the bride when Antonia came running towards Evan. She handed him a piece of paper which, after reading, got him furious. Then, my parents, Craze's parents, and Ellie's parents walked to a corner, and began discussing something seriously.

All the guests began whispering, and after a while, all our parents' eyes were on me. Full of rage. What the hell is happening?

I looked at Felix, my older brother, who was also with them who had a disappointed look on his face. I turned to look at Felicia, my 15 year old younger sister who was standing beside me.
