"Cass, put on the fucking dress!" Her sister Rose yelled at her, throwing a shirt and skirt at Cassandra, who ended up catching both with one hand. She tossed it aside and continued reading the book that was in the other hand. "Cass, come on! You have to go on your date. He's your boyfriend after all."

Cassandra pushed her glasses up once it started slipping down her nose. She looked at her sister, "Is his name Tom Wilson? Nope."

Rose sat beside her on the bed, "Did you follow him back?" Rose reached over for the skirt and put it on Cassandra's lap.

"Well, of course I did." Cassandra answered her sister and stood up. She looked at the outfit and although she didn't want to admit it, it was beautiful. The skirt was a red, ribbed, under the knee length skirt and the top was a simple grey, over the shoulder bodysuit. Cassandra sighed, "I mean, it wouldn't hurt to put it on, I guess."

"Yes!" Her sister yelled. She clapped then got up from her seat and walked into Cassandra's massive closet. "I still cannot believe my little sister is this rich. I mean, being a design director for Louis Vuitton? That is a dream."

Cassandra laughed as she put on the outfit her sister had picked out. Rose came out with red heels and held it in front of Cassandra, who grabbed it and started putting it on. Cassandra took one last look in the mirror - fully dressed with her hair and makeup done - then turned to her sister, "How am I supposed to one up this outfit for my date with Tom in the future?"

Her sister furrowed her eyebrows, "Uh, what date with him?"

"I don't know if I'll have a date with him. I mean, I hope I do, he was pretty good looking, but he was kind of an ass. Actually, he had a good looking ass, too." Cassandra told her sister who just laughed. Rose handed her a red coat then, literally, pushed her out of the house.

The man she was meeting, Sebastian, had just arrived and got out of the car. He placed a kiss on her cheek, then looked at her from head to toe, "You look stunning, darling."

Both of them had decided to go to an expensive restaurant, something they hadn't done before. Soon, they got to the restaurant and were escorted by a worker to their seats. Once the food and wine were ordered, they sat back in their seats and began talking about life.

Four years of dating came useful in knowing what to talk about and always having a topic to discuss whether it was about some new vegan snack he had found or if she had discovered a new hole in the wall place.

An hour and eating passed until Sebastian excused himself. Cassandra took out her phone and opened her notifications to check what she has missed, "Cassandra?"

She looked up from her phone to see Tom Wilson standing across her seat, "Hi, Tom." She tells him with a small smile, "What are you doing here?"

Tom looked around the restaurant and answered, "I'm here with a few of my teammates. What about you?"

Cassandra felt Sebastians presence behind her even though he hadn't made a sound. She didn't look back at her boyfriend, but answered Tom, "I'm here with my boyfriend. I don't really know where he is though."

Tom's smile fell, but he quickly put on a fake one and answered her, "Well, I hope you two have a good time," he looked behind her to see Sebastian with his jaw clenched, "Bye, Cassandra."

As soon as Tom walked away, Sebastian sat in his seat and before Cassandra could say anything, he began to speak, "Who was that?"

The jealousy was clear in his voice so Cassandra smiled at him, "He was an old friend that I hadn't seen in a few years." She told Sebastian, lying rather than explaining the story of how they really met.

"Don't ever talk to him again," Sebastian stated, his jaw still clenched. Cassandra didn't bother responding, so she nodded her head and looked down at her plate. "Cas, you should probably think about going on a diet, you look like you've gained weight."

Without looking at Sebastian she answered, "I just ate food, I'm bloated." She played with the dessert rather than eating it because of his comment.

"Yeah," Sebastian said sarcastically, "you keep telling yourself that." Cassandra blinked away the tears that were forming in her eyes. She took a deep breath and put down her fork, then sat up straight in her chair.

She smiled at Sebastian, "You're right, I can definitely use a diet." From the corner of her eyes she noticed Tom staring at her with a confused face. Sebastian got a message on his phone and excused himself, telling her it was work.

"Are you really going to let him talk to you like that?" She heard Tom say from beside her, "You know all four of us heard him say that?"

"Tom, don't get involved in my relationship. I've known you for about three days. This isn't your problem." She told him, but didn't look at him, knowing that her boyfriend was toxic.

He furrowed his eyebrows, "It may not be my problem, but it's a problem." Tom walked away from her and she turned her head to look at the group of hockey players who all looked at her with pity. She knew he was right, this relationship was a problem.
