"I heard that Dylan isn't coming to school because he's sick," Alex shrugs.
I arch an eyebrow in question. "Where did you hear that from?"
"His brother," he says nonchalantly.
"He's here today?" I ask with raised eyebrows.
Alex nods, "yeah, I saw him this morning. He's gonna be on the football team this year too."
"Did you speak to him?" I ask, taking a bite out of my mouthwatering sandwich that my mum made for me because I was in a bad mood this morning.
"Yeah," he says, "we made small talk. Just little pleasantries," he shrugs.
I nod my head for no reason. The chair next to Alex screeches and Josh takes a seat. "Rosalyn said I was invited to sit with her at lunch," he says to Alex after taking a look at his shocked face.
"She's sitting on the other side of the table," Alex says.
"Makes no difference," Josh shrugs. "You don't mind me sitting here right?"
Alex and I look at each other and shrug, "it's cool," we say simultaneously.
"Damn," Josh says, "you guys even act the same."
"They're literally the same person," a new voice says. Brian and Zack make their way to our table and take seats. Zack sits next to me and Brian sits on the chair between Josh and Zack. "Rosalyn's a bit more violent though."
"Excuse you," I glare at Brian.
Brian looks at me and gives me a smile, "it's true."
"She doesn't look violent to me," Zack says with a frown.
"She looks like an angel," Alex says this time, "don't let her looks deceive you, she's a devil."
I scoff, "he's just jealous that I'm better than him."
"As if," he scoffs too.
I playfully glare at him and drop the subject. I look at Zack, "are you older than Dylan or is he the older one?"
