Prompt: you're my masterpiece
Hope you dragons enjoy this!
I stood in my secluded art room staring at a blank canvas. Paints were neatly aligned on a small table next to it. Of course the room it's self was not as tidy as my paints. There were paint patches on the floor, walls, even the ceiling. But there was nothing on the canvas. I groaned in frustration and threw my paint palette at the canvas. It slid off creating a kind waterfall of paints. In a surge of inspiration I grabbed my brush, added some more paints to my palette, and began painting. When I was done, it looked like a cloud raining down different colored paints. There was a little girl and boy under an umbrella that I painted in black. Satisfied with the results, I painted on my signature with a special paint that can not be covered so no one can steal my art. I took a picture and put it on my website to be sold. Slenderman didn't like the idea but I needed a way to earn money. I took the painting off the easel and set it against the wall. I put on a new blank canvas and got ready to paint before I heard my name being called. I went upstairs and saw Bloody Painter, otherwise known as Helen, waiting a top the stairs. I waved at him.
"Did you need me for something?" I asked. He nodded.
"Ok. What for?" I asked.
"Come with me." He said, simply. I made a weird face, but followed him nonetheless. We headed outside towards the cherry orchards Pinkamina insisted we have. I noticed a white, wicker chair with a grey pillow. I turned to Helen.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"I wanted to paint you in the sunset with the trees in the background." He said, sounding shy. I grinned at him.
"Well, ok." I sat down in the chair.
"How do you want me sitting?" I asked. Helen walked over to me and made some adjustments. Once he was satisfied he began painting, looking up only occasionally. Soon he was done. I quickly got up.
"Can I see it?" I asked. He shook his head.
"Aww why not? I want to see your masterpiece." I said.
"Then go look in a mirror." He responded.
"Huh?" I said confused. He sighed.
"If you want to see my masterpiece go look in a mirror." He said.
"Why would I do that?"
"Because you're my masterpiece." I gasped in surprise. I then smiled and lifted his mask. He was gorgeous. Not that I would say that out loud. I leaned in and pressed my lips against his. He kissed back, his hands going to my hips. I wrapped my arms around his neck. We broke apart and I smiled at him. He smiled back. I took his arm and we walked back inside.
When I was sure Helen was asleep, I snuck out of our bed. I tip toed down the hall to the room where he kept his paintings. I quietly opened the door and crept inside. I closed the door and turned on the light. There was only one painting that was covered and after surveying the rest I assumed that was the one he did of me. I walked over to it and knelt down. I carefully lifted the cloth that was covering it and gasped. It was beautiful. The cherry blossoms fell down around me, the sunset giving the trees and I a sort of glow. The stars looked real above the trees. I was in the middle, leaning against one of the arms my legs over the other. My head was thrown back, not too far, and I was smiling. My eyes were closed. I looked regal. Beautiful. I was snapped out of my trance when I felt someone's arms go around me. I gasped and turned my head. Helen pecked me on the cheek.
"Do you like it"? He said, his voice low and sleepy. I wordlessly nodded.
"How did you know where I was?" I asked, voice as low as his.
"Well I noticed you weren't in bed so I stepped out into the hall. Though the door was closed, I saw light creeping underneath. So I assumed you were checking out this." He said. I turned my head and kissed him.
"Its beautiful." I said.
"Just like you. Now let's go to bed." I took his hand and got up. We walked back to our room and got into bed. I drifted off to sleep thinking about that beautiful painting.
