Chapter 20

Zayn's POV

Liam had this huge party planned out for Kim's 18th birthday. I thought it was pretty cool. But I felt a bit upset that I didn't get to spend the day with Perry. I really like her but I still wanted to help out with the party. Perry would come over later.

I couldn't believe that Kim was turning 18. She was like a sister to me. They all were. We all had surprises for her.

The red Camaro she has always wanted, a new phone, a gorgeous party dress, a Gucci bag, and Louis said he had a song for her. We were all pretty ticked off for what he did but I guess he deserves a chance to make things right.

The party was going to be pretty small. Well, small in Harry's point of view. We were going to have a DJ, Karaoke, a bouncy castle, the pool, the yard had hundreds of lights, a candy buffet, and chocolate fondue. Everything was ready and the guest were going to start coming at eight.

It was about five and Kim wasn't back yet. Louis called us and asked the girls to make a chocolate cake for Kim and for us to help him with the song.

"Lads, I want to make things right with Kim and you. I wrote a song but it won't be the same without my mates there. Who knows? It might be good enough to add to our next album." he told us.

We spent the next few hours learning the lyrics and the beat. It was actually a really good song and the lyrics really worked.

At six twenty-five Kim showed up in her...friend's? blue convertible.

"Hey guys!" he waved from the driveway. Liam glared at the guy and walked back into the house. We all walked back out with our gifts.

Miranda got Kim a red scarf. Seriously what's up with girls and clothes? It's all about hair people!

Lisa got her a new phone with a personalized case. It had the lads, Miranda, that friend of hers, and her in it. Niall gave her a really pretty red party dress that Miranda helped pick out for her to wear to the party. Harry gave her a Gucci bag and I gave her hair products. Yup, best gift shopper right here. Liam gave her a huge teddy bear with a red bow tied around it's neck. It had an envelope tied to it and when Kim saw she squealed. Actually squealed.

"OH MY GOD LIAM IT'S GORGEOUS!!" she squealed. Her friend was standing to the side making a phone call and looking a bit jealous.

"Open the envelope." Liam said trying to contain his excitement.

Kim did as she was told and as she opened the card she found inside a set of car keys and at the same time Liam opened the garage.

Kim looked at the car and her Jaw dropped open. She looked from the car, to Liam, to the keys, back to the car, and back to a smirking Liam.

"Liam, you didn't!"

"I did love."

Kim screamed and ran over to Liam and jumped into his arms and Liam picked her up and twirled her around. Well, I see how much she loved my gift.

"Oh my gosh guys! This is the best gift a girl could ask for!" she said with tears in her eyes.

"Well, a Camaro pretty much makes everything great." Niall teased her.

"No, I mean, what else could I ask for? I have a loving family, great friends, and, well, I have you guys. I have nothing I could ask for. Miranda, Lisa, you two are like my sisters. Niall, Harry, Zayn, Liam, and, well, even Louis. You guys have taken care of me more than anyone else. And Royce," she said hugging each of us and moving on to a very upset looking guy near his blue convertible," You have no idea what it means to me to have you in my life." she said with tears in her eyes.
