Prologue:

Sitting with my legs crossed, I plucked the strings of my guitar. Soon melodic sounds transferred and I was in heaven.

"Summers nearly gone

With the feeling of your arms

But I'm fine

I'll see you in another life

I wipe the taste of your lips from mine

I trace your thighs for one last time

But I know

I'll see you again

I don't want to wake up now

These dreams somehow

Come to life

You me forever at last

And I won't lose my head

I'll keep your heart instead

Next to mine

Passing by all the time

Winter came and went

The feeling of your lungs

Your breathing matching mine

I'll see you next time

Hold me close

Don't let me breathe

You and me we'll never leave

I know that I'll see you again

I don't want to wake up now

These dreams somehow

Come to life

You me forever at last

And I won't lose my head

I'll keep your heart instead

Next to mine

Passing by all the time

Don't give me up just yet

A month left we won't forget

Our names carved into the trees

Moonlight sunset we'll be free

I don't want to wake up now

These dreams somehow

Come to last

You me forever at last."

Wet salty tears flooded down my face in waterfalls. Every time I play this song, I think of her. How she took my heart and stamped on it with both feet. How she told me I loved her and I fell for it. How, in front of everyone, she laughed at me and told me it was a dare.

I should hate her yet I've never been more attracted to anyone in my life.

Why does love have to be so unfair?
