The next day I awoke to water being splashed on me. It was cold but surprisingly refreshing. Jack and his crew pulled me out of bed, put handcuffs on me, and dragged me out the door.
"But I don't want to go to school mommy," I whined.
"Don't worry you ain't going to school," Jack replied.
They had pulled me into the interrogation room, sat me down in my chair, and uncuffed me before my eyes could even adjust to the bright lights. I rubbed my eyes and looked up at Jay.
"Who did this to you, Cody?" Jay demanded.
"Well Jack woke me up and brought me here if that's what you mean. By the way good morning to you too!" I said cheerfully.
"I'm not kidding around Cody I mean it. Who gave you these scars?" Jay said very intent on the question.
"I'm sorry that's classified," I said.
Jay hit me in the face hard.
"Ow," I said.
He spun my chair around and pushed me up against the cold cement wall. Then he took out a knife and placed it firmly on my side.
"How did your father die Cody?" Jay said his words were becoming sharper than his knife.
I got very angry and pushed him away. Immediately Jack's crew came over and pinned me to the wall my arms spread out like wings.
"Go ahead kill me. I don't care any more. You can hurt me all you want but let's face it you brought me here to help me and that means you don't want to hurt me. So you are probably not going to do a whole lot to make me talk," I growled.
Jay did the unexpected and he walked right up to me and stabbed me in the shoulder. I cried out in pain.
"Who Cody who?" Jay said pressing on the blade.
"I told you already Jay remember? Remember the interrogation?" I said.
Jay's face lit up as he remembered. Then I looked at Jack and I knew I had just said the wrong thing.
"Listen close Jay because I'm not going to be here soon. My dad was killed by a man named Cutler. He was burned alive. Do not search for me or you will die. Do you here me Jay you will die," I whispered.
Jay nodded then sent me to my room to get patched up. Jack handled me especially ruff this time and I knew my time was up. I was going back to hell. I was going back to Cutler's place.
