I get him off and climb back into my seat. He pulls his shirt down, and places both of his hands on the wheel. We took off toward our houses.
"Are you taking me home?"
"Do you not want to go home?"
"My home is at your house now that we are engaged." He smiles over at me. "Our house has plenty of room for you to bring your stuff over."
"How do you expect me to get my parents to let me move my things into my teachers house?"
"Just bring something to school every once in a while, and I can take it home with me."
"Or I could keep wearing your clothes." He smiles at me like an idiot. "I'm being serious."
"I like your clothes. They're really comfortable; plus you've worn all of them."
"Are your parents home yet?" I looked down.
"I don't wanna go home, I want to stay with you."
"By the time we get to your house there's only fourteen hours until we will see each other. You have my cell number so you can text me all night, as long as you get a little sleep before school tomorrow."
"Okay. As long as you get some sleep too. I don't want you to be tired when you tell your classes you're engaged." I kiss him quickly, grabbed my bag, and got out of the truck. "See you tomorrow." I turn to shut the door.
"Bye, love you."
"I love you too." I whisper before shutting the door.
I walk into my room and grab my phone. I'm already showered and ready for the day.
-Good morning. I can pick you up this morning (if you want me to)-
-Of course I'm ok with it. My parents are both at work. I'll be waiting outside.-
-Ok. Be right there. Can't wait to see you.-
I scoot as close to him as I can, and place my left hand on his thigh. He places his right hand over mine, curving his four fingers under my pointer finger and palm. I plant a kiss onto his cheek. He turns his head and lets our lips collide as we pull to the end of the driveway. We hold hands the whole time. Once we got in front of the school he pulls my hand up, kisses right above the ring, and sits it back into my own lap.
I scooted over toward my door. He parked the truck, and he motioned for me to go on. I got out of the truck and walked to the door.
I opened it and walked in. I went to my locker and put my backpack away. My friends found me and didn't even notice my ring until breakfast when I scanned my card.
"What is that?" The cafeteria lady asked.
"My ring?" I smiled.
"Are you engaged?" I smiled the biggest smile possible.
"Yes I am!" I was proud to admit it. "When did that happen?" Kayla asked me.
"Yesterday." I walked to our table and sat amongst Laci, Tj, and Haley. Kayla followed.
"Did you know Brooke is engaged?" I looked over at her and then at them. "Gross." Haley wasn't a lovey dovey kind of girl.
"Are you gonna have a baby or what?" Laci asked.
"Awwwww..." Tj was the romantic type. "Thanks guys. Really appreciate it. And I'm totally gonna have a baby in high school, and ruin my life." Laci looked at me and smiled.
I walked into first period, my favorite teachers room. The one I wasn't engaged to.
I gave him a hug. He started me on my next project. I had to work with clay. "Come on" he said trying to give me an early start. It was me and Haley's turn on the wheels. I took my ring off. "Where do you want me to put this?" I asked.
"What is that?" He asked.
"She's engaged!" Haley screamed.
"No, you are way too young for that." He was chasing me around the room. "No!" I was squealing like a little girl. "I just want to see it!" He was screaming. I stopped and showed it to him.
