Thyst's PoV

I watched the match intently. Max went straight to the offense position, pushing Percy into defense. Percy blocked each blow and even looked amazing while doing it.

"What's wrong? You miss Thyst? Was she too much for you? Not enough for you? Sad that you will never be the cause of her smile or laugh? That she won't wake to you? That you are now out of her life?" Max snickered at Percy. Percy seemed to get angrier with each word that escaped Max's lips.

Percy did something I never saw him do before. He dropped Riptide. My jaw dropped, and I'm pretty sure most the campers were as shocked as me. I was dumbfounded. That is until I saw the glint in Percy's eyes. I knew Percy better than most, and I knew his next move. The way he moved his fingers at his side. I knew Percy hadn't given up just yet. In fact, I don't think he would've given up.

"Sad that you never crossed Thysr's mind, while she was in Tartarus. That she will never love you like she loved me?" Percy countered.

Suddenly, water surrounded the arena. Percy closed his fist, and the water went straight towards Max. I held my breath as the water soaked the crowd too. Percy unclenched his fist, and the water was gone. Rosy, Kira, and Silena coughed along with the crowd, trying to get the water out of their lungs.

I just stared, soaking wet, at Percy. Max was on the ground, coughing up water and panting. Percy was the only one who was dry. Percy picked up Riptide and walked up to Max. I pushed my wet bangs out of my face and ran down to the arena, two steps at a time. Percy brought back Riptide just as I grabbed his bicep.

"Percy, no. Don't do it. Please." I begged him. Percy turned to me, and his cold, hard stare softened. He pulled me into a hug, and I immediately hugged back. I breathed in his scent. He always smelled like the ocean. I buried my face in the crook of his neck.

"I'm sorry." Percy muttered. I nodded. I pulled away and realized I was no longer soaking wet. I was dry. I smiled at Percy.

"Thanks." I told him. He nodded.

"By the way, you have nothing to prove to me. You are already the most heroic, brave, talented demigod I've ever met." I said. Percy blushed. I grinned widely, knowing the effect I had on him.

I felt arms slide around my waist. Max.

Percy's smile faded, and the cold look returned in his eyes.

"Come on, babe." Max said. I smiled apologetic at Percy and followed Max. I made sure we were a goo distance away before stopping.

"What's wrong, babe?" I cringed at the pet name he gave me.

"I don't think this is going to work out." I told him, being straightforward. Max frowned.

"It's him, isn't it?" Max growled. I knew the him was Percy.

"Yeah, but I love him. I love you, too, but more as a brother." I explained. Max glared at me.

"You're acting like a slut." Max said. My jaw dropped, and I tried not to cry. I'm the one who defeated of Gaea. I don't cry over names.

"What do you mean?" I croaked out.

"Like you don't know. You go around kissing me, leading me on, when all you wanted was someone else. You make me sick, and you are definitely not the Thyst that was on the run with me." Max said in disgust.

"Don't you dare call her anything, let alone a slut. If ever say anything or even look at her again, I will personally kill you." Percy growled. He literally came out of no where. He grabbed a fistful of Max's collar and got real close to his face. Max glared at Percy. Max glanced at me, before storming off. That was something that never happened before. Max gave up on me.

Sobs escaped my mouth, causing Percy to rush over to me. Percy pulled me into a hug and held me tight. I hesitated, before hugging him back.

"Shh, it's okay." He whispered in my ear. He pulled his head back. I looked at him confused, until he smashed his lips on mine. I kissed back and wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist. His tongue swiped across my lower lip, asking for an entrance. I opened my mouth slightly. His tongue roamed my mouth. I just held him close to me. Terrified that if I let go, he will disappear. I pulled away, even though he still kept trying to kiss me.

"What about your girlfriend?" I panted, trying to catch my breath. I tried to keep the jealousy out of my voice, but I don't think it worked well. Percy grinned against my mouth.

"Broke up with her." He whispered. He leaned in and kissed me again. We made out for about 10 minutes before we walked to the beach. I sat down in the sand next to Percy and leaned my head on his shoulder. I stared at the calm waves. It reflected how Percy felt.

"I missed you so much." I said. He held onto me tighter.

"I missed you too." He said. I sighed in content. My heart raced. I've never been so happy before.

"Want to go for a swim?" He asked me, while smirking.

"I'm not wearing a bathing suit." I said sadly. Percy smirked.

"You don't need one." He whispered in my ear, sending chills down my spine. I bit my lip, debating. I stood up and looked around. I took off my shirt and shorts, which left me in my bra and panties. I grabbed Percy's hand and pulled him up. He grinned and pulled of his shirt. I bit my lip once again, while I checked him out. He was scrawnier than before. Percy pulled down his pants, leaving him in boxers.

Percy threw me over his shoulder and ran towards the water. When we were in waist deep, he dropped me in. I came up to the surface and gasped for air.

"Is this like a usual thing now?" I ask.

"Yup!" Percy said. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he pushed my wet bangs out of my face.

"Amethyst Jones, will you please be my girlfriend again?" Percy asked nervously. I grinned.

"Of course." I answered. Percy grinned and pulled me into a kiss. This one was gentle and short. I pulled away, and Percy pouted. I giggled and pecked his lips. I grabbed Percy's hand and he winced slightly. It was barely noticeable, but I managed to catch it. I furrowed my eyebrows and frowned. Percy pulled his hand away. I reached for it, but he put it further behind him.

"Percy, give me your hand. Now." I said sternly. Percy didn't move, so I reached for it again. This time Percy didn't pull away. I grabbed his wrist and pulled it to me. My eyes widen as I saw red lines on his wrist. Some were scars, some were scabs, and others were fresh.

"You didn't." I choke out. Percy wouldn't cut himself. Right? When he didn't respond, I looked up at him, tears filling my eyes.

"Why?" I whispered as the tears fell. Percy looked down, avoiding my gaze.

"It was too much, when you were...gone. I was really depressed. I wouldn't eat, sleep, or do anything really. All I did was cry and fight. You always entered my mind. I couldn't forget. I couldn't move on. I felt like a part of me died. I was miserable. Others said cutting helped. Made you forget the pain, even for a moment. I just want you to know, I love you. More than anything and everything. You are my world now. My everything." Percy explained quietly.

Tears wouldn't stop falling at this point.

"You have to promise me not to do it again." I told him.

"I promise I won't ever cut again." Percy promised. I hugged him tightly.

I love Percy. More than breathing. More than life. Percy is my world. My heart beats for him. My thoughts are clouded by him. My entire existence rotates around this boy. I am truely, madly, deeply in love with Percy Jackson.

Who's happy Percy and Thyst are back together? I know I am.
