He crouched in the bushes, watching the Queen and the Merchant talk together in the gardens.
The Queen sat down on a bench and the Merchant sat next to her.
He kissed her cheek.
The Queen smiled happily.
But he knew that the Merchant was a traveler and would soon leave his beloved Queen.
Leaving his Queen brokenhearted.
