I am to be executed today. At least that's what the guard said. I have an hour to prepare. But what charge? I am innocent of all charges except being a Plantagenet. I will never give that up.
This is King is mad! How can anyone obey him? I bend my head down and raise my arms in consent.
Then I suddenly feel an urge for life. The axe swings down as I rise up to meet it. I run away and I feel a blow throw me to the ground but I feel no pain.
More blows and I fall to the ground. I never get up again.
