Chapter 7 - I Believe In Second Chances

After school Ken took me to Olive Garden. I act as if I'm not interested but he tries hard to impress me. It's kind of cute...I guess.

I'm not cold-hearted bitch as you probably all think. He's not my type; I dig bad boys even criminals. I know I should be playing his heart like this but I want to see if could fall in love him.

The waitress came with our drinks and took our orders when I decided to tell him about Kay.

"So me and Kay made up-" I got cut off

"WHAT?" he asked he look confused

"Everyone goes through ups and downs. I believe in second chances." I said

He started to smile at the word chances. What was that suppose to mean? Dose he know I don't feel the same way; or he's referring to his own family issues. Ugh... see the position you put yourself through. The waitress came to serve us our orders and we both started to dig in

"So Alli how is the food.

"It's actually pretty good " I said with a smile .

As I was eating I felt a pair of eyes glued on to my face then I look up to see Ken just staring out at me. He always does this to me for some reason, I was deciding if it was embarrassing or quite cute.

"KENDRICK STOP STARING AT ME LIKE THAT" I said playfully while throwing my napkin at him.

He laughed and said: "I can't help it your so ......."He said hesitating

"SPIT IT OUT KEN" I Said

"Gorgeous just Gorgeous...." he said

"Aww your so sweet" I teased him

"This dinner was really dedicated to is getting to know each other so I want you to tell me about yourself and I'll tell you things about myself, Deal" He explained

"Deal that sounds good to me" Putting a thumbs up at him.

Kendrick is great as we were talking I started to think he wasn't so bad at all he's really caring and nice. We talked about all different types of things; like our favorite music and our dreams when we get older and so much others. I think giving him a chance was a pretty good choice. We were both done with our food and we realized it was seven already so he ask for the check.

"Check Please" he asked the waitress.

So after he payed for everything we got Into his car and he was headed to my house.

"Were here baby. He smiled while getting out of the car seat and walking towards the passenger door. And we started walking towards my front porch

"Well thank you so much for this wonderful dinner". I said

"My pleasure, we should do this again sometimes" He answered back

"Yeah totally agree" I said politely

He leaned in and kissed me. I was at shock because I'm not used to being casually kissed on the lips but I admit it, I enjoyed it.

I reluctantly pulled back as said :

"See you tomorrow"

"Bye baby." he said going back to his car

I know I should've said something like 'I love you' but how can I say something like that if I don't feel the same. And I had another thing on my mind......Kay.

I need to tell Kaylee now or never.

So the next morning, it was a Friday, I was going to drive Kay to school and after school we're supposed to go to a burger place.

"Hey Ali" my sister Jesianna said, remember her?

What got into her? She rarely called me by my nickame.

She grabbed a plate of pancakes and bacon started eating; which really weird because she NEVER eats at home.

"What''s gotten into to you?" my dad stole the words at my mouth.

"Well......Kyle and I started going out about a week ago and he's said we're going rollerskating today!" she said happily and proudly

"WOW....and your excited for that?" I said sarcastically

"Don't you have a boyfriend?" she asked

"Yea..so?" I said simply

"You have a boyfriend?" my dad asks curiously

Yea I suck telling my parents what's going on in my life.

"We'll talk about after school" my mom said

Great. Atleast I can ask her for some advice

"My point exactly leave me and Kyle bear alone,"she said in a annoying tone to me,

Not another Kay. Speaking of Kay I better be on my way; she hates when your late.

"Bye mom and dad off driving Kay to school." I said heading out the door.

When school was finished Kay and I were already talking about the gossip, when I decided to bring 'it' up.

"So ken and I are-" she cut me off

"Dating." she finished for me

"Yea look I don't even feel the same he used the word love on me and I don't what to say" I explained

"So you're using him ?" she asked calmy

"Only if you want me to.." I said and she evily smiled

"Find out what he likes....this and that....." Kay's voice trailed off

"No wouldn't it hurt him?" I asked with confusion

"Look Ali,it doesn't matter I'll use this to my adantage. Plus this will be your secret untill you find the right guy." she explained

Wow.... I mean I guess this'll be my little secret from him; but this didn't prepare me for what's gonna happen next.
