This week was Christmas! I love Christmas and everything about it. Christmas also presents me a time that I can ask and receive some bigger horse items. My goal in 2017 was to expand and actually get leg protection. To finish off this goal I received some open front boots, bell boots, and sport boots. Primarily my gelding will use them but Flicka can as well when she grows into them.
I'm also excited about how she is growing and that she will turn two in March. I can't wait to start the new year and see where this girl goes!
Some of my 2018 goals are to finish my round pen. Only 4 more panels! I've worked so hard buying one panel at a time to get them all.
I also hope to get a regular job. My parents still very much support me and the horses and I'd love to become a little more independent. Also having a job will allow me to make more of the important goals a reality.
Flicka will most likely be sold this year. My intention has always been to sell her and give her an education that she can be successful in life. I will do everything I can to make sure this filly has the best life possible.
I also really would like to upgrade my trailer. I currently have a two horse straight load and we have out grown it. My dream trailer is a 3 horse slant with a tack room. It has to be bumper pull as well due to my truck. I'm really hoping if I get a job I will be able to set some money aside toward it.
I'm really excited for 2018 and can't wait to see what happens!
