THOUGHTS.
written by: Edlairke.
Staring at the clouds, getting darker and darker. Drops of water touches my skin. The cold breeze welcome me with open arms. It started to rain.
Raindrops or tears of an angel?
I wonder why some people loves the rain, is it because, they felt like they are not alone while crying? Or maybe it's another thought of the other way around?
I put out my umbrella, standing beside of a traffic light, waiting for the cars to stop.
Why red light means stop? How about green light means go and yellow means get ready? Ready for what? Reality? A new journey to take?
Humans are weird. Sometimes, I thought of why am I one of them. Maybe it's because I got no place to go.
When I got into the car, there are signs along the road.
Signs that they tend to ignore, signs to the keys of life and wisdom. And yet, they still are hard headed. Humanity.
The car stopped. A rainbow appears up in the skies after the rain.
How come rainbows can't have unicorns also? It will look sweeter and happier if they had even only one.
I saw the sun, was now hiding in the seas. The skies are orange, blue, pink, white and other mixed colors it was beautiful.
Why is the sun hiding? Hiding from whom?
Stars and other celestial bodies appeared in the dark sky, called night time. Moon was there all alone.
Why does the moon didn't end up happy with the sun? Is it because they weren't meant to be? Or is it because, walls are between them?
I closed my eyes and different events was gone into my vision. Dreams they call. But when your fears was there, they called it nightmares. It was frightening.
Why dreams are greater than nightmares? How come?
I opened my eyes and I saw my mom, smiling at me. "You little kiddo, penny for your thoughts?" She said. I shrugged.
"I have no money, mom." She chuckled and whispered,
"Kids will always be kids." she thought of.
