Dots.
Dots.
I can't count how many times I've clicked away from a fan fiction when I see this:
"...well......"
"Hm......i don't..........Know?"
"Lol what the hell...........?!"
"......uhhhhhh....."
This drives me insane and I don't know why people add so many dots. Okay, in some parts it fits where you are trying to emphasize a sentence or form suspicion, but not every goddamn time!
If you do this, then please, who am I to tell you to stop, but try using less dots [and it's worse when people use ",,,,,,"], it makes your writing seem unprofessional and messy.
For me, I only continue reading it where I see ONE sentence with dots so many, but usually I say "bye" and search up some new stuff.
It pains me to see so many writers doing this, so try to include less dots. Or use just two. Or three if you can't live without them, but not "............................"
