Chapter 21

                                                                            AMARA'S P.O.V

Sebastian opens the door slowly. I stared at him in awe. He had a beard, his clothes were wrinkled as if he didn't bother to change clothes and slept on them. His hair was messy as if it hadn't seen a brush in months, yet it looked hot on him. He started to look up slowly until our eyes met. He gulped down.

"Who is it, Sebastian?" 

"It's Amara" In an instant, my parents were side by side of Sebastian. I started to smile softly. I have been looking for Sebastian first and after not finding him I came here... I should have known-

I grunted as the three vampires started hugging me. I was reminded once again of not being human. If not I would have lost air. I let them hugged me as long as they wanted... Eventually, They all stepped back and stared at me.

"Where...How... Are you ok?" They all said at the same time. I walked in with a smirk and sat on the dining room table.

"Could I Have blood?" In an instant, I had three different glasses of human blood in them. I gulped them down one by one without even considering asking where they got blood so fast.

They sat on the dining room table watching me like a hawk. I could see they had a lot of question's to ask me. I took my time drinking the blood thought. The trip back here took a lot out of me.

"Where have you been!" I scoff laughing as I was drinking the last glass. My parents stared at Sebastian and one thing was clear. They learn to love him just as much as I loved him. I lick my lips and put the glass down.

"Zane took me to an Island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean... It took  me about a week to leave the island after I kill him-"

"He is dead right?" That was Sebastian.

"Yes... I drain him of his blood... Then burned the body."

"Was the bastard starving you to death?" I shook my head.

"No... He was feeding me... Not enough to be full and strong, but enough so I wouldn't starve." Sebastian's hands were instantly in a fist.

"I'm... so sorry I have been useless-" I smile.

"You wouldn't have found me... I had to leave that island myself." I told him honestly. "I need a shower and rest." My mom opens her mouth no doubt to offer me to stay here. "I'll be ok at my house mom. Zane is dead-" They all gave me this look and I had a feeling I was going to suffocate in overprotective fools.

Sebastian gave me a crooked smile... Then stared at my parents. "I think the last thing Amara needs is being surrounded by walls." I nodded slowly. My parents still stared at me skeptically. "I'll watch her like a hawk," Sebastian vowed and I laughed.

My parent's let me go to the cottage with Sebastian after hugging me a few times. Sebastian drove me to the cottage in silence. He parked the car and I started opening the door. He ran towards my side and open the door for me leaning on it watching me with a sad smile. I stood up slowly and looked up at him.

"What?" I whispered.

"I'm... so-" I put a finger on his lips stopping his apology. 

"I'm sorry... You were right... Like always." He smiled crookedly.

"Does that mean you're going to listen to me from now on?" I laughed.

"Hell no. Being stubborn means I never learn from my mistakes." He stared at me with all the love in the world. In an instant, I was over his shoulders. I yelp then laughed.
