"Why the hell are we going to Stiles' house?"

"You'll see when we get there," Derek says. "So, how's school been."

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I ask. "When have you ever cared how school was going?"

"Since always Abigail," he tells me. "I actually care about you and what's going on in your life."

"You know what Derek, you confuse me. Well, I'm more confusing. One minute I can't stand you, and then you always redeem yourself and I can't stand to be away from you. It's very confusing."

After that he was silent. Great, I've made things awkward. Good thing the car ride to Stiles' isn't that long.

"Stay in the car," Derek said as he was opening his car door.

"What, no I'm not staying in the car, I'm going to help you."

"Stay in the car until his dad leaves," he says rolling his eyes.

"Derek!" I yell as he closes his door.

"There he goes again," I say, "making me hate his guts." I roll my eyes watching the sheriff car parked in the Stilinskis' driveway.

Finally after what felt like hours Sheriff Stilinski left and I walked in the front door. Of course I stopped by the kitchen and got a few steaks that were sitting unbothered on the counter.

"Hey Stiles," I said as I walked into his room. "Oh and I hope you don't mind, I grabbed something to eat."

"Abby, what the hell."

"Oh don't worry, I didn't eat all of the steaks."

"Anyway," Derek says, "Scott didn't get the necklace?" he asked turning to Stiles.

"No," Stiles answers. "He's still working on it. But there's something else we can try. The night we were trapped at the school, Scott sent a text to Allison asking her to meet him there."

"So?" Derek says.

"So," I interrupt, "It wasn't Scott."

"Well can you find out who sent it?"

"No, not me. But I think I know somebody who can," I say.

I get out my phone and call Danny.

"Hey Abby, what can I do for ya?"

"Danny, I need you to meet me at Stiles Stilinski's house," I say. "It's urgent."

"Yeah, alright. I'll be there soon."

I hang up the phone. "And now we wait," I say.

Derek sat on the bed and I joined Stiles at his desk. "So, why are you with him?"

"You know," I say, "I was asking myself the same question in his car," I say.

There was a knock on the door. "Well," I say getting up, "that was fast." I walk downstairs to the door and welcome in Danny.

When we got him to Stiles' room we explained to him what we needed him to do.

"You want me to do what?" He asked.

"Trace a text," I say.

"And what makes you think I know how?"

"I looked up your arrest report," I answer. "so-"

"I- I was thirteen. They dropped the charges."

"Whatever," Stiles says.

"Who's he again?" Danny asks looking at Derek.
