16- ninety bucks and change

The first time I ever trespassed was when I was thirteen. It was with my cousin in Florida, my reckless cousin that was barely eighteen and had already been to jail. I can't remember why my mom decided that I should hang out with him, but she did, and he took me to an abandoned school a couple of houses down from his house. There were three brick buildings in the complex built behind a wall of trees. I remember how excited I felt when we took a step inside, taking in the moldy smell and trash littered all across the floors of a place I wasn't allowed to be.

That feeling was nothing like what I felt now. The majority of my emotions were related to fear and anxiety, only a small portion of it being excitement. The risks didn't seem real back then, but now, they definitely were.

After pacing around the room trying to figure out what to wear on our first heist, I asked Tyler to wait in the living room. He refused, not wanting to run into one of my roommates again.

"They sleep until at least ten." I argued.

"I can't take the chance. It would look suspicious." Tyler countered. "Besides, we've supposedly already seen each other naked, remember?"

I felt my cheeks flush and tried to cover it by retorting, "Yeah but that's just a cover."

"What happened to walking around in just a t-shirt, huh? You had no problem showing off then." He reminded me, a twinkle of mischief in his eyes. What changed is back then I didn't think he was interested. Now, I wasn't so sure.

"I don't want you be tempted."

"Don't worry, I won't be."

Ouch

I stepped inside of my closet and flipped through the hangers as Tyler stayed at his spot on the floor, watching me. Eventually, I picked out a tight blue dress and a black sweater to go for the whole walk-of-shame look. The most innocent look possible if found in a boy's house early in the morning.

I placed the garments on my bed and stripped off my sweatshirt along with my t-shirt. Changing my bra was completely unnecessary but I grabbed a new one from my dresser anyway, opting for a black one. After placing that on the bed, I stripped off my jeans, all while maintaining eye contact with Tyler. Despite his attempt to remain unaffected, I could see his eyes darken. With each item of clothing I took off, I made sure to move slowly, sensuously. If he was going to be a dick and watch, I was going to make him regret it.

Tyler's eyes traveled down to my left rib cage, just under my bra line to my one and only tattoo. It was a sketch of a shark, an abstract piece with lots of lines that was maybe six inches long. It wasn't until I reached around my back to the bra clasp that Tyler finally turned away. His gaze fell to the floor just as I let the garment hit the ground. He stayed that way until I was in my new outfit, all emotion gone from his face when he looked at me again.

"I don't know why you keep denying your attraction to me, Tyler. It's obvious." I teased with a small smile.

"Don't flatter yourself, Aly." He snapped. "I'm a guy. You're a girl. Do the math." His voice was harsh, his eyes just as cold as his words and catching me completely off guard.

"Jeez, dude. You don't have to be such a dick."

Tyler stood up quickly and didn't look at me again. "Let's go."

"Fine." I muttered as I grabbed my flats and followed him outside. Thankfully, my roommates were still sleeping and didn't have to witness two flustered people storming out of the house.

I handed Tyler the keys and he hopped into the driver's seat. I sat in the passenger's side and flipped the mirror down, trying to mess up my hair as I gave Tyler directions.
