her hands are getting colder,
as the autumn leaves begin to crack
her heart is way above the s e a s,
it stayed with the ground she cherishes
h o p e they say,
but is hope lying on the pavement ?

the other day she got a smile,
it's been quite a while
it hurts to know sometimes
human life isn't even acknowledged
on these dirty city s t r e e t s

little did they know what
she went t h r o u g h
little did they know
the love she once k n e w
it's so easy to pretend not to see
when the reaching hand
isn't above the h e a d

(merry christmas everyone❤️ may this day bring you a bit of brightness and joy. and remember that if you feel awkward/anxious/sad during the festive season (perhaps because of all the family gatherings) you're totally allowed to get some rest and stay alone for a while to get better. i love you all, take care!!
also this poem about a homeless woman i see quite a lot; i always try to smile at her and say hello but i feel bad for not helping her more. the thing is, homeless people are real and suffering and they get so little attention ): take care xx)
