shit we need to leave behind in 2017

so i was gonna post this in my rants book, but im not gonna make enough dc/yj fans mad by posting there

i have a list of stupid shit we should leave behind in 2017 (such as certain clothing brands/celebrities/'tomboy' idiocy/being straight is the assumed trait to add onto characters/etc)

ANWAYS

the biggest thing i want to leave behind

are those who complain about 'changing' and characters sexual identity

such as being gay/lesbian/bisexual/pansexual/transgender/asexual/aromantic/etc

OKAY SO IM GONNA START BY STATING IF ONE OF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT WHAT IM GOING TO SAY I WILL DELETE UR FUCKING COMMENT BC UR A FUCKING ASSHOLE AND DONT DESERVE TO BE READING MY SHIT BC I WRITE TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY BUT IF U COMPLAIN U DONT GET TO DESERVE MY SHIT BC I WILL MAKE THE CHARACTERS AS GAY AS I FUCKING WANT BECAUSE BEING STRAIGHT SHOULDNT BE THE SOCIAL NORM JESUS CHIRST

so

next year i want more dc characters to come out of the closet

not even just gay or lesbian

but bisexual or pansexual (because ya know u dont have to swing one way)

now i know people will be like "you cant just change a characters identity from straight to gay"

like ??? because making conner gay would make him less angry??? it would make him 'dress' like a gay man??? NO because COMING OUT AS GAY does NOT change your personality (i mean maybe ur a little happier if others accept u but thats another story for another day)

i just

guys come on

im just so done w this straight shit

if the next season isnt even a lil bit gay i will delete this book forever because i just

shhhhhhhhhhskskskskskkkkksksmskmskmkdksmkmsskmksmkms

also introducing new characters would be too much effort and $$$ for dc as a company anyway

they gotta figure out how to introduce the character WTIHOUT making THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE COMPLAIN (such as the african-american girl who was introduced in marvel in the iron man series or whatever) like ??? i dont know why u guys complain when a company tries to add representation in its shit like

"theyre just doing it to be more relevant" and its like ??? yeah??? dont u fucking dress a certain way to stay relevant??? dont u talk to people to stay relevant??? u obvs do something to stay relevant even if its fucking cringe worthy

ANWAY

make a character gay

make a character bi or pan

make a character ace (i personally vote for tim because ??? the signs are there okay just)

make a character lgbt but just PLEASE dont keep them grounded to that. keep them as a dimensional character as we've previously seen

and i dont want to hear ur shit like "oh, but he only hit on girls" like ?? idk maybe hes shy around pretty boys??? like me around pretty girls????

i dunno i just want 2018 to be the gayest year possible

so, in conclusion

i no longer want to hear any of yalls bullshit about not being able to make a character gay

i dont want to hear yalls bullshit about "just making a new character" because i 100% garantee they will be ignored by dc and the fans

i dont want to hear people state that someone is simply straight because theyre only seen them interact with girls

like

OKAY LISTEN

girls are such a fucking plot point for dc

have u seen the amount of times theyve used RAPE as a fucking PLOT POINT for their stories??? theyre just "this girl got raped" and its immediately left behind just like ksksksksjskkjslsjs

So FUCK U. FUCK YOU IF YOU THINK UNFOLLOWING ME OR NOT READING MY SHIT WILL MAKE ME CJANGE MY MIND. I DONT CARE ABOUT THE NUMBER OF FOLLOWERS I DONT CARE ABOUT THE NUMBER OF READS OR VOTES. I DONT GIVE A SHIT. BECAUSE ID RATHER STAND FOR REPRESENTATION THAN HIDE BEING THE HETERNORMATIVITY THAT IS FORCED UPON US. EVERY. FUCKING. DAY.
