Flowers, hair spray, hair ties, hair brushes, and ribbons laid around on the living room as my sister played with Zara's hair. Apparently Rose was trying to make her hair look like some type of princess, she was getting there. My mom sat beside them handing anything Rose believed she needed to get her hair to stay.

"What's with this mess?" A voice bombed as the front door opened revealing my father, Robert.

"Hey Honey." My mother, Marie spoke. "Rose is doing Zara's hair." My mother explained as my father walked towards her. Bending down to kiss his mate before pulling her into his lap.

"Hey Rosey. How did school go today?" Robert questioned. "It's a little early to be home isn't?"

"School was canceled today." Her short answer proved how concentrated she was on Zara's hair.

"Really?" Robert asked surprised. "It's only October though."

"It's November first, Dad. Not October anymore."

"Do you not see that snow out there? Those roads are dangerous." Rose spoke. Rose is way smarted then her age. Something that we haven't gotten used to quite yet. She got her looks from dad. Her blonde hair was like sun shine, very light, but very beautiful. Her eyes looked like the pretty brown you would see on walls. Not too light, but not really dark. Me on the other hand, took after my mom. Forest green eyes, always a different shade. My black hair was lighter then Zara's. Her hair looked like a sin, red tips. Mine looked dull, a dusty black almost-

"Sue me then." My father muttered with a soft laugh snapping everyone back to reality.

"Hey Zara. I'm Robert. I'm glad you stayed around." My dad added, he never complimented anyone other then mom, but when he did, he meant it.

"Hey Mr.-"

"No please just Robert. Nothing else, I'm not that old." My father quickly cut off Zara as soon as he heard something he didn't like, in this case it was calling him by the last name.

"Dad you are very old."

"Well thanks, I love you to."  He muttered rolling his eyes at me.

"Alrighty and I am very sorry for all the trouble I have been causing." Zara spoke one again, but this time softly. My dad suddenly turned serious.

"Zara, you aren't causing any trouble. You are helping this pack more then you realize. We love you here, and we hope you don't leave. We like you too much." My dad spoke, not missing a beat. Zara smiled softly back. I couldn't tell what she was thinking. I think she was slowly believing us, or I hoped anyways.

"Tada! All done!" Rose shouted as Zara slowly stood up, carefully not to hurt her hair in anyway. Rose handed Zara a mirror for her to check it. "See it looks like Rapunzel's hair now!"

Zara looked a little lost, completely confused. Rose, who seemed to notice this, gasped. She looked a little hurt.

"You don't know who Rapunzel is!" It was more of a statement then a question but Zara still shocked her head.

"One day I got to show you who she is!" Rose shouted jumping up and down. Rose is going to be that one famous hairdresser one day, everyone will want to go to her.

"Okay." Zara smiled down to Rose. "One day, I promise. Thank you so much for my hair. It looks so pretty!" Zara hugged Rose tightly as she giggled. It didn't last long as the door was thrown open, breaking the peace into nothing.

"Alpha! They're after Luna! They are declaring war!" Zara quickly but carefully moved Rose to my mom before rushing out the door with me right on her tail.

"Zara!" I pulled her back quickly making her look into my eyes, as I caught her attention. She waited for me to speak, I knew there was no way I would stop her from going now. "No matter what happens, please be careful."

"Of course." She agreed as I let her arm go. The battle field was ahead of us, three sides. I knew what the third side was and it killed me. I knew it was time for Zara to pick where she wanted to do. Rogues stood ahead of us, to the left was a group.

"There she is! Come to the middle or are you scared, little red?" The rogue king challenged as Zara glared, taking dangerous steps towards the middle. The ground shook with each one.

"I'll show you scared." Her voice wasn't low but it could be heard by everyone.

"Little red, little red." He sang walking towards her. She stayed silent but her glare said everything.

"Oh we see you now." He continued.

"No I thought I was invisible." Zara snapped since he was next to her. He went to raise a hand but was thrown back Zara's power.

"You little-"

"I heard it all. Doesn't faze me."

"Zara." I called out. "You can go ahead and pick a side." She looked back, her eyes meeting mine.

"You can go with the people in front of you. Give yourself up and quit life." I paused as she thought about it, her face told me she wouldn't.

"If you look to the right. You can run, you can leave this all behind. You can escape, start a new life you want. You don't ever have to look back. You can have kids and get married, never have to worry about getting chased over again." It pained me to say but in a way I meant it. "If you look to the left, there's pack members. They will help out get out and off this land, safety. After you are off of this land, I can't protect you anymore."

"If you look behind you, there's a pack that wants you, that needs you. One that will keep you safe for as long as they live. A place where you were meant to be all along. A place where you can start a new life, and teach others how to get through struggles. Where you can be who you want to be. Zara I'm not forcing you to stay here and neither is Axel, but please let you're heart make that choice." Nate was the one that spoke, I knew if I couldn't get to her, he could. Her eyes met mine, she made her decision as she took a step the right.
