Assalamualaikum sisters. Hope all of you are having an amazing day. Today I thought of sharing about my hijab journey.

I started my wearing hijab when I was just 10 years old. It wasn't forced but my parents wanted me to wear it. I didn't mind it at all because my mom wears it . All my cousin wear it. So it wasn't something new. But i really didn't know why we wore something like that. I just knew we shouldn't let any men see are self but our mahrams.

The very first day I felt so odd walking around the street with my mum. It was like I'm the centre of attention. But not a bad attention. They just started at me. Some smiled some just gave this weird look. I live in a country where so many different cultures mixed. People here respect each other a lot. We see people not there regions or beliefs. So i didn't have to face any haters alhamdulillah.  My friends didn't reject me for my hijab in fact they support me a lot. I have Muslim and a lot non- Muslim friends.

It's been seven years since I started  my hijab. And wearing the hijab was the best thing in my life. I feel confident,  strong, and peaceful. It's not only protect me but also help me to show the real me. I'm proudly a Muslim women. When people say mean things  or hate comments all I do is ignore. I respect my self. I'm unique.

I know there are many young girls who wants to wear the hijab but there parents dislike it or there scared of haters. All I can tell to these girls. Sisters you have nothing to be shame or afraid. I promise wearing hijab will be your best choice ever. Don't hide your identity. After all I'm sure the haters won't last long. Eventually they start accepting you. Just give it a try.

Hijabi's aren't just a covered girl but she's far more special like a Queen👑

Hope you like my short story. If you got any questions please feel free to comment or dm me. BTW no hate comments please.

Have a lovely day 😘
Peace ♡
