They're Not Going to Leave

Recap: Just then, my stomach decided to growl. Rolling out of bed and onto my feet, I wobbled slightly, but managed to stay on my feet.

I made it down the stairs to the kitchen when I spotted two heads outside the window.

To be more specific, ginger headed twins. I sighed, but felt the barest sliver of relief that I wasn't alone.

*************************************

I walked outside. "Hikaru, Kaoru, what are you doing?" I said creeping up behind them to startle them.

"Ahhhh!" they screamed together, "We weren't spying or anything!" They said, running around in confused circles.

I began to laugh, holding my stomach. They stopped running around and looked closely at my laughing face.

Suddenly, my breath hitched in my throat, and I began to cough. I pressed my lips together and held my breath. After a while, the coughing subsided.

The twins were now on either side of me. "That cough is pretty bad." Hikaru stated.

"Are you sure you don't want to go to a hospital?" Kaoru asked.

My eyes widened, and I shook my head violently. "No, it's fine. I'll just eat some medicine." I tried not to sound very desperate as I scrambled away from them. "I'll just go back inside." I turned around to find the rest of the host club, minus Haruhi. "So you guys didn't leave after all. I should have known."

"Why of course, how could we leave a sick friend alone?" Tamaki said with a sparkly aura.

"It wouldn't be beneficial if your health took a turn for the worse." Kyoya said and glanced up from his notebook at me.

"We were worried about you, Haku-chan!" Honey smiled and bounced up and down. "Right Takashi?"

"Yeah, we were worried." Mori said, looking straight at me.

"Seriously, we can't take our eyes off you." Hikaru said, hooking his right arm through my left.

"We'll just have to take care of you until you get better." Kaoru finished for him, hooking his left arm around my right.

"..." I stared at the host club. "Then come in. The air is still fairly chilly." I coughed, facing away from them. Uwahhh. I'm terrible with things like this. I felt like blushing and smiling at the same time. What would a normal boy do...

"Umm... Haku?" a voice came from behind the host club. They immediately leapt away from the source, giving me a good view of the dark-robed speaker.

"Oh, hey, Umehito." I said softly, so I wouldn't start coughing again. "Wanna come in too?"

"Okay..." He was carrying a bag.

"First name basis!" Tamaki freaked out as lightning went off in the background. "He even calls my son Haku!!!" he cried in a corner that magically appeared. "Kohaku only lets Honey-sempai and that black magic boy call him Haku. He's so cold to me. Why?!?!?!"

I flicked his forehead and whispered in his ear. "Because you're vapid, fatuous, and stentorian."

He went into extreme depression.

"Woah, what'd you say to him?" the twins asked. I smirked.

I led the host club and Umehito into my house, the twins dragging Tamaki with them, who was still in a state of denial. This time I didn't bother to tell them to leave. Even in my fever-ridden mind, I knew they wouldn't.

"If anyone needs me, I'll be up in my room. Make yourself at home," I said before climbing up the stairs to my bedroom.

After laying down on my bed, I heard someone come in. I looked over to see a figure clad in black. "Umehito..." I sat up to the edge of my bed.

"Ah! Umm... you see... I-I brought you a get well Beelzenef!" He said. He held out a Beelzenef plushie, looking a bit embarrassed. Aww, so cute.... The plushie is, don't misunderstand.

Umehito walked over to give it to me, but he tripped over his robe. He fell, but caught himself with his hands. His hands were on either sides of myself, and his face and mine were inches away from each other. We both froze.

Umehito turned bright red. Wait... what?! Everyone at Ouran thinks I'm a boy. Maybe he's just not used to seeing people up close.

A scream punctured my thoughts. Umehito scrambled away from me.

That voice... Oh no...

He's going to kill all the boys in this house. Then me. Then the guys again.

Well, please continue to read, vote for, and comment on my story.

Farewell for now.
