Once Aiden left, I closed the door and locked it. I leaned my back against the door and sighed. My heart had never been beating this fast. He was about to kiss me!

I was not sure whether I did the right thing or not. I had to admit that I wanted to kiss him too, but, a part of me told me that it was too soon. I couldn't even figure out my feelings towards him. Some people might think that a kiss would not be such a big deal, but, to me it was. My first kiss should be special. I wanted to have it with someone I truly love, but, was I in love with Aiden? I didn't know.

My mind started to wonder. If I did kiss him, I was afraid that things wouldn't be the same anymore. I was happy just to be able to be close to him, I didn't want to ruin it. "It could help you figure out what was your feelings towards him. Maybe it could help him figure out his feelings as well." A part of me said.

He left after the almost-kiss happened. Did I hurt him by pulling away? If yes, I wished he knew that I didn't mean to hurt him. If we took it too far, someone would get hurt. Wasn't that what love always did to us? Flew us to the highest sky, then dropped us to the deepest ditch?

I shook my head a couple of times and decided to go to my room. I got changed into my pajamas, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and fell asleep with the thought of Aiden.

Today was Saturday. Kate called me earlier that Alyssa wanted to meet me. We were going to meet at the park near her house. The thought of Aiden suddenly appeared in my mind, so I thought, why not invite him to join us at the park? I called him and he said that he will be there. I told him I would bring some chocolate balls, as I promised yesterday. I didn't forget to mention that my little friend would be there as well.

Alyssa and I were currently playing on the swings, waiting for Aiden. A tall figure was coming in our way. I noticed that it was Aiden. He was wearing a black hoodie and jeans. His hands was in his pockets and he smiled once his eyes met mine.

"Hey." I greeted him.

Alyssa and I got off from the swing and Alyssa held out her hand. "Hi! I'm Alyssa!"

"Hey, I'm Aiden." He shook her hand. It was really cute how his hand was so big compared to Alyssa's tiny one.

It was clear that when Alyssa held Aiden's hand tighter when Aiden was about to pull away. She stared up at him without even blinking her eyes and tilted her head as if she was observing him. Aiden furrowed his eyebrows at me. "Alyssa, what's wrong?" I said.

"Hey! Let's have chocolate balls!" She ran to a bench and sat on it. We followed behind her. I sat on her left and Aiden sat on her right. I took out the chocolate balls and placed it on her lap.

"Luna made it for us!" She looked at Aiden, then back again at her lap. She handed one for Aiden and one for me. She took the whole chocolate ball in her tiny mouth, then laughed while shaking her head because her cheeks got bigger.

Aiden and I laughed along with her. "How are you supposed to chew that?" I asked. She kept on laughing that caused her to drool. I pulled out a tissue from my bag and wipe the drool off her chin.

"Like this." She then chewed the chocolate ball. "See!"

"Wow. That's amazing." Aiden said, pretending to be amused by her. She giggled and her cheeks turned red. "Aw, look at you, you're blushing. How adorable." He pinched her cheek that made her blush even more.

We spent the day playing around the park. Aiden was currently playing on the slide with her while I watched them from the bench. They were laughing, Alyssa squealed whenever Aiden chased her of pushed her gently down the slide. He was not that bad after all. He only needed someone to be there for him, letting him know that someone cared. He might be lonely and he needed a friend. I didn't mind being his friend. I was not scared of his bad reputation. People didn't know the real him. I was glad that he showed another side of him to me; a side of him that everyone must had been dying to see.

It was five p.m. when we decided to go home. We dropped Alyssa to her house. Now, we were on our way to my house.

"You know what, I think you should open your own restaurant. I mean, you're really great." He said out of the blue.

I laughed. "I've never thought about it."

"Well, now, you should be considering it."

"I'll think about it." I said. "Hey, I didn't know you're good with kids."

"She's so adorable."

"So, you have a soft spot for kids? The bad boy wasn't that bad after all." I teased.

"Oh, shut up." He said and I laughed.

"Do you think it was weird? You know, the way she looks at you?"

"Yeah." He furrowed his eyebrows and focusing on the road. He seemed like he didn't want to go on with the topic, so I decided to stop talking.

A couple of minutes later, we arrived at my house. "Thank you, Aiden."

"Goodnight, sunshine."

"Goodnight."
