In this book, you will find out how to make certain transitions in After Effects CS6 for your edits like slide, rotation, screen pumps etc...

•After Effects (I think you can use any version) • Two or more clips & • CONCENTRATION!

1.- Open After Effects. 2.- Create a new composition ( Composition > New Composition or CTRL + N ). 3.- Import your clips and drag them to the timeline. 4.- Once you've done this, adjust the clips. 5.- Now go to "Effects & Presets" And search for "Motion Tile". 6.- Drag it to both clips. 7.- Select the clip that goes first in the timeline, something will appear with some settings 8.- Now in "Output Width" & "Output Height" Change the value from 100 to 700 (on both) and check the "Mirror Edges" box and do the same with the other clip. 9.- Now here is the fun part. With you first clip selected press on your keyboard the letter "P" and go one keyframe away from the end of your first clip, then press the clock in the position thingy 10.- Once you've done that change the value until it looks like its mirrored ______________________

11.- Now go 15 frames back and add a keyframe and try to make it look like the image was before. 12.- Now select both keyframes and press F9 or fn + F9 and next to the timeline there is a small graph button, press that. 13.- Under the graph there is an eye button and next to that eye button there is another button xD, press that and select "Edit Speed Graph" and make it look like a down to up curve.
Now congrats! You've done half of this transition, lets finish this!
14.- Now select the second clip, go to the first frame and keyframe it and mirror it on the other side and go to the front for 15 frames and keyframe it so the image looks like back to normality. 15.- Now press F9 or fn + F9 and go to the graph and make it look like its a up to down curve and...
