Aiden's POV

I pushed the girl off of me. Standing up in the process. She gasped as she hit the floor, but I didn't care. I paid her no more attention. I couldn't, no one could. Not when a girl that beautiful walked past. She had long dirty blonde hair, blue eyes. She was short, maybe 5 foot 4. She kept her head down as she walked past everyone, made her seem shy to be at a new school.

I stared after her as she walked into the school, everyone watched her. It was the first time in years that someone new was in this town, at this school. No one came to this city, not with its crime record.

"Did you see that girl?" My bestfriend, Jake, nudges me from the side. I smack him on the back side of his head.

"Everyone saw her, you dumb ass. She was hard to miss when she walked past everyone to get inside."

"Right. Haha. She was hot."

"No shit. But she is weak. "

"Why do you say that?" Jake asks.

"Avoiding eye contact, shows you are nervous or afraid to be around here. Those are signs of weakness. A strong person would look everyone in the eyes and not give a fuck what they thought about them." I don't know why I was saying all of this about a girl I didn't even know.

"Dude, chill. She's a teenager at a new school, in a new city. Id be afraid of this lot too if I were new, have you looked at us. Scary bunch." My other friend Damien says.

"Whatever." Is my lame comeback. I couldn't get her out of my head, I wanted to know who she was.

Katerina's POV

The school door closed behind me. No one else followed me in. They were all to busy still staring at the back of me. While I was walking in though, I did notice a group of very attractive guys, there was only three of them. They were all very good looking, but they also looked dangerous. Wearing all black, holding cigarettes in their fingers, and the fact no one walked to close to them.

I walk into the office to retrieve my schedule. I don't know how Derek did it but he got me enrolled into a school for the first time in a long time. I had to admit I am scared. I don't remember the last time I was in school, or if I was ever in school before.

An elderly women with grey hair and wrinkles on her face greets me.

"Hello, dear. You must be Katherine Stark. "

"I am." I answer stupidly.

"Here. Have your schedule and locker number here on this paper. If you get lost trying to locate anything just ask anyone in the halls, they would be glad to help you. "

"Thank you." I take the paper from her and leave the office. The school seemed pretty easy to figure out. Two floors, and a big square. I'm sure I could find my own way. I look at the schedule the lady handed to me.

First period History.

Second period Chemistry.

Third Period Foods.

Lunch

Fourth period Calculus.

Fifth period Physical Education.

What an odd class schedule. I Stuff it into my bag as I already memorised it. I don't bother going to the locker assigned to me. I wouldn't need it. I find my first class on the top floor. It wasn't difficult to find, and I wasn't late. Looked like I was early as no one else was there yet. The door was locked, but the small window it had showed no one was in there.
