Chapter 1 (Pool time)

He cleared his throat and went over to the large patio table.

Shrugging Tally turned back to me. "So are we going out or what?" She asked laying down in the chair beside mine. I sighed and relaxed into my own chair watching absently as Tobi went over to Blaze giving him one of those wierd man hugs.

"I don't know I guess we could. My parents what to throw a big party and everything but I don't know if I even want one."

"What!" She screeched.

"Of course your having a party! This is the biggest day of your life. Your going to find your mate and have babies and get married and everything's just going to be perfect." She sighed.

I gave her a wierd look. "Tally I'm pretty sure thats what you want not me." I laughed lightly.

"But...you do want to find your mate right?" She asked turning on her side to look at me.

I gave her a small smile. "Of course I do who dosn't dream of the day they find thier other half its just--" I sighed and shook my head.

"So what are you and Tobi doing for your birthday?" I asked changing the subject.

She gave me a look telling me we'd finish the subject later. "Tobi wants to go out with all the guys but I want a party."

Tally and Tobi's birthday was a week after mine and she nonstop talked about her mysterious mate. She had this whole image built up in her head and I prayed that she would get some one who cherished her.

It was silent between us for a while each of us bathing in the warm sun. The sounds of the other in the pool moving around us.

Suddenly I was jerked up from my chair and thrown into the air. A scream escaped my lips before I was suddenly engulf into cool water.

I broke through the surface and glared at Tobi who was laughing loudly along with all the others. Blaze suddenly reached down and pulled Tally against his chest causing her to scream. Before she could break free he jumped into the pool Tally still in his arms.

When they came back up Tally pushed away from Blaze angrily pushing her dark hair out of her eyes.

"Such a jerk." She muttered swimming away from him. A odd look crossed Blaze's face before he hid it and looked toward me. I gave him a look then turned away. I was still mad at him for last night and wasn't't ready to forgive him.

I squealed as Tobi jumped in beside me and dragged me under with him.

I groaned and pushed out of Tobi's hold and swam to the steps. We'd been playing in the water for like an hour now and I was thirsty. Our other friends Roxy and Blake had come over and instantly joined into our fun.

Roxy was almost as crazy as my aunt Seven if not more. She had a crush on Blaze and wasn't afraid if him knowing. In fact she practically sexually assaulted him every day. He'd tried multiple times to tell her he wasn't't interested not that she cared.

At the moment she had her arms wrapped around his neck while he tried to unwrap them a uneasy look on his face. I stifled my laugh and climbed out the pool.

I grabbed my towel and quickly dried off before heading into the house. I walked into the kitchen and instantly squealed covering my eyes. "Eww oh come on! There are children here!" I yelled.

I peeked through my fingers to see my parents straighting their clothes a blush covering my mother's face.

My father cleared his throat and grabbed my mothers hand before dragging her out the kitchen to do god knows what. I shuddered and shook my head. I grabbed a cup from the cabinet and opened the refrigerator looking for the sweet tea.
