Chapter 7

Marcy's P.O.V

le Marcy's Casa

"Hey Marcy?" Calum asks laying next to me on the bed while I do homework.

"What?" 

"Why do you still work at a cafe ?" 

"Well, I have school stuff to pay for, this place and bills." I sit up. 

"Just move in with us." He sighs.

"You know that would be a bad idea." I place a pillow over his head. 

"You and Luke have been friends again for almost a year now." 

I just look at him blankly.

"What ?"

"I'm not going to freeload off you guys." I look back down to finish my essay.

"Okay Ms.Independent." He rolls his eyes. "Pay rent then."

"How much is rent ?" I ask.

"Your friendship." He smiles. 

"Sorry that's too expensive." I laugh.

"Just think about it. You literally have a room there already not being used, the guys and I are always here, staying some nights even. Although it is too small for us here. And Michael is really about to take your room and make it into a second man cave."

"I'll think about it." 

I have been thinking of leaving my apartment, don't get me wrong I love my own space, but working at the cafe minimum wage, having to pay this place on my own.. I cannot. PLUS luke finally was able to teach me to drive or get me driving again after that.. that thing that happened. So I'm saving up for a new car.

"Hey guys." Luke walks in through the front door.

"Sooooo, how does everyone have a key to my place now?" 

"Lucas !" Calum ignores me and runs to him.

I just hear mumbling then Calum walks back to my room. "I'm leaving. Bye."

"Wait ! why ?"

"Luke told me too !" He says before walking out and closing the door.

I hear the TV go on.

I shut my laptop and walk to where Luke is.

"Why did you kick Calum out ?" I ask him.

"You don't want to have alone time with me?" He pouts.

"No." I squish his face and walk back towards my bed.

"HEY ! Where are you going?" He pulls me back and forces me to sit on him.

I look at him with my arms crossed and my eyebrow raised up.

"What?" He smiles.

"We're supposed to be friends ! You dumb blonde giant." I laugh and try to get up again.

He sits me back down on his lap.

"You sit on Calum all the time." He says.

"But, I don't like Calum."

"Oh, so you like me?" He smiles.

Fuck.

"No." I laugh.

"Oh. Fine." He sighs.

There's a knock at the door.

Why is everyone all of a sudden visiting me?
