I'm from Michigan but was raise in Atlanta so I'm not new to these streets . I'm going back home to visit my family and mostly to see my grandma who has lung cancer stage 3 and she's been in and out of the hospital and has been asking about me so it's only right before I lose her I have to see her hug her make her face light up. Heading to the airport my phone rang and it was dawn talking shit to me as always but this time I didn't mind cause I needed a laugh so I answered
Dawn:wassup baby girl you never tested back don't make me fuck you up
Quez:hey dawn and sorry been busy packing i'm at the airport i'm going home for a few days to see family wassup??
Dawn: so I'm not gone see you for a couple days damn ima miss you
Quez:soon as I get back Ima come see you promise

I hung up the phone and sat and waited for my flight to be called 15 minutes later I was getting on the plane ready to take off the ride was long I fell asleep and when I awoken the the plane was just landing I got up and grabbed my things and headed off the plane I bumped into someone I looked up to see it was a tall dark skin dude with perfect white teeth and deep waves I was so stuck on him i didn't notice he was talking to me hey my name is Jason and you are? I'm Quezhane but everyone calls me Quez...sorry bout bumping into you didn't see you coming off the plane...it's ok I wasn't looking where I was going...so are you from here?visiting?.. born here but moved to Atlanta wen I was 2years old so this place still new to me I calm Atlanta I laughed..well I'm born and raise in Jamaica I was here for a job interview but it didn't turn out to be what it seem so I'm headed home...where home Jamaica?..no Atlanta been living in Atlanta for 5years now... oh ok well I hope you have a safe trip home Mr. Jason... hope you enjoy your family and have a great visit beautiful... I smiled hard as he'll and walked off grabbing all my bags I sat and called my favorite cousin to come pick me up she answered in one ring and all I hear was bih I'm outside the airport I laughed and made my way to the car putting my bags in the truck I felt a hand touch my shoulder and it was the that guy Jason I bumped into... sorry but I really wanna get to know you I watched you the whole time after we talked can-n I give your number please?...I don't know I mean I'm not tryna date nobody right now but I guess it wouldn't hurt to be friends I said as we exchanged phones numbers he smiled and walked back inside I got in the car and headed to grandma house. soon as I walked through the door my family got hyped everybody running to me hugging me all I could do was feel the love once I spoke to everyone I looked around the house to find grandma she was in her room watching tv I got in bed with her she looked at me with the biggest smile ever baby I thought i'd never see you again...grandma I've been busy with school but I'm graduating this wednesday coming up then I'm off to college I won't be able to see everyone as much as I would like but I'm here now and I have three days to enjoy you I love you grandma....I love you too pudding she kissed my forehead and I drafted to sleep.

Its been two days and I've been at cj house I mean I love spending time with him but I miss my girls man I miss us hanging and joking I gotta make up with them it just doesn't feel right being without them.cj walked in the room ans sat next me what's wrong baby girl you look sad?.. I'm fine just miss my girls think it's time to make up with them I miss hanging out with them...I understand but you got me to keep you company...I know but I've been here for two days it's time for me to go home and try to get my life back to normal...I understand well you can always come and stay as long as you want...thanks I kissed his cheek and grabbed my over night bag and left. I called a cab to queen house to make up with her and cause she havnt been answering my calls. I knocked on the door three times before she opened the door with sleep in her eyes. Can we talk please?..sure come in wasn't like I was sleeping she said sarcastically...we sat on the couch and looked at each other so I started talking first...look I'm sorry for having you come get me and then I.left with but I didn't know he was gonna come get me I'm sorry q I miss hanging with you this is stupid man I said looking down crying...I forgive you was pissed cause I could of been handling busy but it's fine it's done now so I'm over it and before you ask yes we still kool always will be... I smiled and we laughed and hugged.

Hanging up the phone I looked at the clock and notice it said 9am I got up did my hygiene and took a 20 minute shower got out dyed off and put on my boxers and my black and grey basketball shorts with my socks to match and laid my lazy ass right back down and with in minutes I was sleep again till I heard a knock at the door I growned and got up and put on my slides and walked to the door without looking out the peep hole I opened not giving a fuck who it was cause I'm still sleepy once the I open the door I saw queen standing their smiling at me I rubbed my eyes and yawned and invited her in.

I've been here for 3 days now and I gotta admit I enjoy spending time with my family and i've never seen my grandma smile this much but tomorrow I'm leaving and Ima really miss them so today I plan on cooking a big breakfast and taking everything to out to have fun maybe take the kids to the park or some. I got up and did my hygiene and took my shower got dressed put on my grey and pink basketball shorts and a white tank top and headed downstairs once I reached the kitchen my phone rang I looked at the phone to see Jason calling I sent it to voicemail and started cooking I cooked pancakes , eggs , sausages , grits with orange juice to wash it all down by the time I started putting the food on the table everyone was coming to eat once everyone was sitting at the table we said grace and started eating. My grandma told me she was gonna miss me but i don't everyone knew I was leaving tomorrow cause the room got quiet and all eyes were on me I put my head down and explain i'm graduating afternoon and after that I'll be off to college so I won't have as much time to see or spend with y'all so that's why came and stayed I said nobody said anything they just stared so I continued I'm sorry but staying here is something I can't do I hate it here my whole life staying was hell I only came back for my family I got up and ran upstairs I know they upset but everyday here when I was a kid was hell I got bullied talked about teased called ugly and I believe that I was I was also raped. It took years to move past that stuff and the only people who know is queen and sam the only people I trust knowing. I heard the room door open I looked back to see my grandma she came in sat next to me and said sweetheart if you don't wanna stay you don't have too it's your decision not anybody else's and with that being said she helped me pack and told me to go make her proud I kissed her check and told her I love her and that I would call her once I was on the plane as I walked out the door.
