It all starts with the Character chart.
In every new story I create, the very first part will be the character chart. You can also write your ideas there too.
That is where everything you need to know about your character, belongs. From their name to their idea of fun.
In my character chart, I list all my characters and fill out everything about them. You'll need this information along the way when writing your stories.
Name (full name first middle and last)~
Righty or lefty~
Birth date& time~
Distinguishing marks (tattoos, scars, piercings..)~
Education (degree, IQ)~
Leader or Follower~
How do they relax~
Spontaneous or no~
How do others see them~
How do they see others~
Sexual history (past partners, virgin, non-virgin, etc.)
Medical history (illnesses, allergies, etc.)
Seems like a lot I know but trust me it will help a lot. And I include a pic of each character as well, if you are one to use muses. If you are the type of author who has your own idea of your character but allows your readers to imagine the characters as they wish, then that's fine too.
Just have fun when making your characters. They are your children remember that.
