*skylars pov*

"Hey." I softly spoke as Chris's eyes slowly opened.

"Hey baby, where am I?"

"The hospital, you passed out last night."

"What?"

"You overdosed hun." I said my eyes filling with tears.

"Who told you that?"

"The nurse."

"Babe, I was going to tell you I'm using again...."

"But you didnt. do you realize that you could have died last night!"

"I didn't mean to use so much." he stated.

"I'll be back." I said standing up an exiting the room. I felt uncomfortable walking around a hospital in a short dress and I could feel the tiredness sweeping over me, that's what I get for staying here all night and not sleeping at all.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard my name spoken.

"Oh, ya I was coming to get you; Chris is awake."

"Okay, thank you Skylar; I'll check on him in a bit." spoke the nurse.

"Okay." I said nodding then I headed back to his room.

"Skylar?" I heard him say as I entered the room.

"Yeah?"

"Why you in a dress?"

"We were suppose to have a date last night."

"I know, but did you not go home?"

"No, I stayed here all night." I stated.

"Why?"

"If I didn't who would have?"

"I love you Sky."

"I love you too." I said sitting next to him in a chair.

"No, Sky cuddle with me."

So I go in the bed next to him and I laid my head on his chest hearing the bum-bum of his heart, it soothed me to sleep.

When I woke there was yelling, I opened my eyes to see the nurses and doctor all around Chris and...and...Chris wasn't moving.
