Chapter 2

I ran out as fast as my legs could carry me, barely making it onto the bus. I went all the way to the back, because I didn't have any friends I could talk to. I stared out the window, ignoring everyone else. I wish I had friends, because it does get lonely. Well, I have one friend, and that was Liam Payne. Liam is the nicest guy I have ever met, and I'm glad I have him in my life.

The bus arrived at school. I made my way off of it and went to my locker. I usually was ignored by everyone around me, since I wasn't much to look at.

Niall, stop thinking about it and just open your locker.

What of if I don't feel like it?

Do you really have a choice?

Okay, then. That's what I thought.

I opened up my locker to put away my books and get everything I needed for my classes. That's when I was greeted by Liam, who almost scared me to death with his tall height.

"Hey Niall, how was your weekend?", Liam asked.

"It was pretty good. I really only watched some matches, nothing more. How was yours?"

"My weekend was pretty good, thanks for asking. You ready for class?"

"Yep", I replied. I really am grateful that Liam also took the time to ask how I'm doing, especially since no one really likes me. Everyone is usually quiet in the morning, but by lunch time, they're gonna tear me apart like wild animals.

Liam and I walked to our first class, which was English. English was pretty boring but the only reason I looked forward to it was because after this, I had Science, when I would see Harry. Harry Styles. Harry Edward Styles. The most perfect human being on earth. His luscious curls, his perfect smile —okay, I need to stop doing that. Daydreaming like this is gonna get me in trouble one day.

I sat down with Liam at the back of the classroom, waiting for English to end. I honestly couldn't wait to get out of here.
