I sat at my kit and tapped my foot impatiently. Practice was suppose to start an hour ago but Billie still wasn't here. Mike rubbed his forehead looking annoyed.
"I think we should just start without him." Mike said at last.
"Sure Mikey. Know any songs that don't need lyrics or a guitar?" I asked.
Mike rolled his eyes, "Point taken."
"Where is he anyways?" I asked.
"I think he's with his girlfriend."
"Mike I don't know if it's my place but I don't think Adrienne is right for Billie. It was fine at first but Billie just seems off now."
"What do you mean?" Mike asked.
"I don't know just seems off. He hasn't been drinking and he won't go party with us after gigs anymore."
"Yeah. She told Billie she doesn't like drinking so he stopped."
"THAT'S IT THE BITCH HAS TO GO!" I yelled.
Mike laughed, "Chill Tre. A sober Billie isn't the worst thing."
"Yeah but he's such a drag now. All he does is sit around and read now." I wined.
"Ohhh reading! What a bitch." Mike teased.
"Tre, are you sure you're not the bad influence?" Mike asked
I rolled my eyes. Mike walked over and sat down next to me.
"Look man, Billie's only ever been with one other girl. It took him so damn long to get over Amanda just let him have this. Like, she can't be any worse right?"
That's when Billie came in,
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late. Adrienne..." Mike waved a hand so he knew it was ok.
Billie smiled and walked over to Blue.
"Alright than let's get started."
