Roxanne is just a normal teenager, trying to find her place in the world. She has an undying passion for music, and an amazing talent to go with it, but when her dearest brother goes away to work in the military, she wonders when she will ever see him again. The last thing he gave her before he left was a small, antique box, containing ever mysterious items. Add in friends who betray her again and again, and more trouble than a normal high-schooler can handle, Roxanne begins to wonder what else she has left to live for.
