Most people picture prayer as; heads bowed, hands folded together and eyes closed. I've come to notice that a lot of people think that prayer is supposed to be in a quiet place with complete concentration. Yeah, that is prayer. But prayer is so much more than that. You can pray to God wherever you are and whenever you want. You can say a quick prayer out loud or in your mind. Walking down the hallway or watching a movie. You can look up or down, eyes open or closed. You can be listening to someone tell a story and they never know you're praying. You can bow, kneel, stand, jump, dance, etc. Prayer can be done anywhere, anyway that you want! True, it is good to have private time with God to talk to Him and learn His word. But that doesn't mean you can't pray outside of that time.

Did you know you can say a prayer without an "Amen"? That you don't have to make it formal. God knows you, He knows who you are and what you are like. He is your Father, Friend, and Savior. You can talk to Him as seriously, or as casually as you desire.

Talk to God

Laugh with God

Open up to God

He loves you!!!

Verse:
“No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15

Song:

Who am I that You are mindful of me
That You hear me when I call
Is it true that You are thinking of me
How You love me it's amazing
(Chorus)
I am a friend of God
I am a friend of God
I am a friend of God
He calls me friend
