“Okay, let’s get the other car in. We’ll park ‘em in the west entry of the yard.” Rick said. We were currently standing out next to the over turned bus out in the field. And by we I mean me, Daryl, Rick, T-Dog, and Carol.

“Good. Our vehicles camped out there look like a giant ‘vacancy’ sign.” Daryl remarked.

“After that, we need to load up these corpses so we can burn ‘em.”

“Gonna be a long day,” T-dog said, wiping at the sweat that was forming on his brow.

I nodded in agreement to his statement and began rolling the too long sleeves of the shirt I’d stolen from Daryl up so I could work with my hands.

“Where’s Glenn and Maggie? We could use their help.” Carol questioned.

“They’re up in the guard tower,” I stated pointing to tower in front of us.

“Guard tower? They were just up there last night!” Rick said.

“Glenn! Maggie!” Daryl shouted up at the two.

Glenn’s head popped up in the window before he opened the door, trying to do his pants up. I shook my head in amusement at the two. “Hey, what’s up guys?”

I heard the others chuckle a bit as Daryl shouted up, “You comin’?” My hand flew over my mouth as I tried to stifle the laughter from bubbling over.

“You comin’?” It was quiet a moment between the two as we all continued to stifle our laughter. “Come on we could use a hand.”

“Yeah, we’ll be right down.”

“You are so wrong,” I laughed, lightly hitting Daryl’s arm as we walked towards the other cars. He just smirked and threw his arm around my shoulders.

“Hey, Rick,” T-Dog called. We all stopped what we were doing and turned to look at the man and then towards where he was looking.

There on the other side of the fence was Axel and Oscar. “Come with me,” Rick said as he began making his way towards the men.

We all followed immediately behind Rick.

“That’s close enough. We had an agreement.” Rick started, T-Dog standing slightly behind him on his left side, Daryl to the right, and Carol and I behind them.

“Please, Mister. We know that. We made a deal, but you gotta understand… we can’t live in that place another minute. You follow me? All the bodies, people knew. Blood, brains everywhere. People we knew! There’s ghosts.” Axel pleaded. I felt sorry for the man; he seemed truly upset by all of it.

“Why don’t you move the bodies out?” Daryl questioned, hands on his hips.
