Saturday, October 1, 2016-

Here I am sitting on the couch with a half-eaten carton of ice cream placed on my lap. There was a soft blanket draped around me as I was watching a rerun of Teen Wolf. Matthew wasn't home, I had no idea where the fuck that kid is. It was currently 2:30 in the afternoon and I was lonely on a Saturday.

Where could he be? He wasn't here when I woke up at noon. He didn't leave me a note nor a text. He basically left me.

It was freezing cold. The heater was on but it was still cold. Seconds later, my phone started ringing. I reached for it on the coffee table and glanced quickly at the contact name and answered it without hesitation.

"Where are you." Was the first thing I said. It didn't even come out as a question. I could hear music and a bunch of people talking in the background.

"Hey, to you too." I ignored him and waited for him to answer my question. "Sorry, Nathan called me earlier this noon and asked me to cover his shift. He's not feeling well so here I am. I won't be home until 11 pm." I stayed quiet for a minute. Why did it sound so busy? Was there a lot of people? I wondered.

"Alright." I simply responded.

"I'm sorry." He apologized again.

"It's okay." I sighed. It wasn't okay. Who was I going to hang out with? I didn't want to sound like a clingy ass girlfriend so I just said it was okay. Plus, I didn't expect for him to hang out with him 24/7, right? We need some space and I need to respect that.

"Alright, Well, I need to go now." There was a slight pause between him and I. "Bye."

"Bye," I whispered before I ended the call before he could. I sighed very loudly before falling over to my side and just laid there. I literally laid there while staring at the tv.

After an hour of staring at the tv, I decided to take a nap because I had nothing else to do. I turned off the tv and threw the remote on the couch before I stood up. I lazily made my way to the bedroom but then I heard the doorbell rung making me groan. I quickly jogged over to the door and unlocked it before opening it revealing Andrea. She was standing there with puffy red eyes, tangled hair, smudged mascara under her eyes. She looked a mess. My face softened as I felt myself begin to worry about what happened to her.

"Andrea?" She just sniffed in response. "What's wrong? What happened?" She just walked in in response. She wiped her nose with the back of her hand and turned around to face me. Tears started rolling down her cheeks as she spoke.
